people see what they want to see - am I happy we won, heck yes, we couldn't afford to lose last night, and yes it was good to see the boys rebound from the BTA they got from PSU, but it doesn't change my mind about the future of the program. the same issues I saw in how we've been wrestling for quite awhile, I saw last night - lack of setup of shots, no angles, everything was head on, even the shots that were successful, lack of attempts from certain wrestlers, no chain wrestling, no attempt at top wrestling. changes need to be made somewhere, this isn't a one match or one season issue. someone posted an article written by askren in 2014 about bringing in DT and the issues he highlighted with the style of wrestling then are still issues now - 12 years later - that's not saying bring in Askren or don't bring in Askren - its saying we ain't fixing things as a program, we keep hoping for a specific wrestler or two to fix things for us, that's stupid.
