Impressive. He'll be a Lance/Amile kind of guy for us, except I think he's going to have a little more offense as he matures. You need these kind of guys to win it all.

Love his attitude. He's all about the challenge of earning minutes. He won't let the one and dones get lazy. Coach K is going to love this young man.

He's an intense rebounder, has an ok jumper and is a really good passer for a big. The one thing he does extremely well other than hustle is communicate. That could very easily get him some court time.

There are going to be some serious battles in practice. Amile might be the savior of this team because he will keep chemistry high. There are going to be some guys who don't like each other early on. As long as they can function on the court together it won't matter.

Nice read. It's always refreshing to hear a commit saying that there is no better way to get better than going against the best everyday in practice! He was speaking of Giles and Tatum, and of course I'm sure he meant everyone else also.
Great attitude, and along with his motor, I can't wait to see him in Duke blue.
Go Duke!!

Great read. The only way to be the best is to go up against the best every day. Speaks volumes of his makeup.

I like the quote referring to Giles and Tatum, "I'm not as skilled as either of them yet." Great attitude. I gotta feeling he might be pretty special before he ends his career at Duke.

91 Koubek-first ever to play in 4 Final Fours.

92 Marty Clark

Here's the thing. Koubek was a reasonably high recruit who did not always live up to billing and thought of leaving but stuck it out. Marty Clark was a McDonalds All-American. He accepted a lesser role and stuck around. Nate was a big time recruit who had multiple injuries who also hung in there and accepted a smaller role. Amile and Lance were top 30 ish. None of these guys were outside of the top 50. They were not projects.
