What's so sad about you is that instead of being happy that WVU finally put together a decent 4 straight quarters (like the rest of us), your first thought is to come on here and gloat that WVU won to.....WVU fans?

I'd pity you, but you're not deserving of it.
Sorry to upset you that WVU won.

We won so the bare minimum expectations for this year are still on the table I guess. Overall was actually a great game by the whole team outside of ST, but one great effort doesn’t erase the gaffes and losses this team has taken on.

Let’s take out ISU on their letdown game and split KSU and Texas to get to a bowl, dump a bunch of NIL money on a QB and let’s get this back on track.

ISU and Oklahoma State back to back at home. Win one those at least. But I'll be happy if we give the same effort every game except learn to put it in the END ZONE!

We played a solid game. Defense definitely gets the game ball, but the offense did its job overall. Good stuff!! Breaking a game losing streak feels pretty good.

Need to score TD's and not FG's. But, a win is a win is a win. We put the game in the hands of the OL and Defensive secondary. And they came through.

Deserves another extension.

PREMATURE EJACULATION MUCH? THAT'S A GRAMMAR TERM.

You would think giving up a 100-yard TD on the opening kickoff return would be a kick in the gut that would be hard to overcome but WVU defense had 3 takeaways and the Mountaineers avoided matching their worst start in the Big 12, WVU’s home for 9 years.

And this came after WVU had its worst outing of the season, a 45-20 loss at Baylor after 3 earlier losses by only 3, 3 and 6 points.

But my alma can’t rest on its laurels. Next up, in Mountaineer Field at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 30 in Mountaineer Field, is Iowa State, which Saturday knocked off #8 and undefeated Oklahoma State, 24-21.

QB Jarrett Doege completed 21 of 28 passes for 257 yards and NO interceptions. Leddie Brown scored 3 touchdowns and rushed for 111 yards.

More importantly, WVU came through at crucial times, the opposite of what it has been doing all season. There's hope after all.

But all of us need to keep in mind that there's a Cyclone on its way to Morgantown. I'll be in Mountaineer Field to hope my alma mater battens down the hatches.

So you like 6-7 win seasons? Cool. I don’t.
