I'll be voting for President Trump tomorrow, if I have to stand in line all day.

I don’t where you live, but be sure where you can vote. I had friends in the primary fail to vote, because their regular precinct was not open.

I’m sure you can google it.

Same place I've voted for the past 25 years. The elementary school in my neighborhood. Open Confirmed.

My county has limited to about half
the normal precincts, but has voted 50 percent of registered, and likely 75% of those that will vote.

There shouldn’t be much waiting!!

I usually never have to wait at all. I haven't heard of any reduction of precincts in my town here in Idaho. Not worried about it. Looking forward to voting this year more than ever. Not that it will change anything. Most of us vote correctly out here.

I just dont buy the polls. I can believe Trump's mouth ticked people off but when you look at how the country's economy has been until the Dem led covid shutdown, I dont know who can complain. How the actions of BLM and Antifa havent been a massive turnoff according to these pollsters is a mystery to me.

A Judge has ruled on Texas litigation where Publicans attempted to get 120,000 drive in votes tossed.

The votes will count.
The judge was also a GWB appointee. An easy search showed it wasn't supression, it was to define what's to define what a "legal vote" was bc there's no precedent for how things are being counted bc of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, I would think "if who we want doesnt when we will burn your business down" has to be some sort of intimidation

RCP has it 319-219 for Biden. Fivethirtyeight.com has it 351-187 for Biden.

I bet a bud 100 bucks Biden would equal or exceed Trumps EC haul, 306.

Then I researched it, and found out DJT only received 304 when “the college” met, because two “faithless electors” wanted to throw a vote into the history books for Mitt Romney, and someone else. Hillary lost 4, and I do not remember who to, but not to Trump.

This same bud got me for 100.00 bucks in ‘12, when I bet him Obama would win by no more than 2.5 million votes . . . and late polls in 2012 had Romney closer than Trump and Clinton in ‘16.

I told him the # is 306 or greater for our bet.

My best guess having read lots of election news: Texas could surprise the Republicans, and Pennsylvania the Democrats. Nine times more young folks voted in Texas, early, than did last time, and very liberal cities voted so heavily that the early vote exceeds 2016’s total for the whole state. The home county of the city of Austin has a 97% adult registration, and at least a 70 percent turnout early.

Pennsylvania looks like an oddity: whereas Democrats have been out early in numbers in N.C., Texas, Montana, only 38% of Pennsylvania’s vote total has been cast with early voting. This is very weak compared to 11 stares that are above 90 percent of their total vote from the last presidential vote.

If they love Joe in Scranton, they’ll have to stand in line later, today, to prove it.

also easily smashing the liberal rhetoric that Trump was suppressing voters.

As of 6:30 pm Eastern, the Election Project shows that 97,780,000 have voted, early-in-person, or by an absentee ballot. Tomorrow more absentee ballots will be received, and in some states, absentees postmarked on or before November 3rd will be accepted for several days.

The upshot: 100,000,000 will have voted prior to Election Day. Polls have consistently shown a solid third of the electorate will vote on November 3rd.

Hence, the over-under for 2020 is 150 million, easily smashing 2016’s record of 138 million votes.

He's not, and he won't be able to, he is just trying to. By the way, it is not just Presidential race at stake, e.g., Texas house may flip as many as 10 seats to Demos, which is part of the reason for all the litigation in Houston and other spots in that state.

As an aside, double checked with my wife, and this campaign we have contributed to the following races:

City Council
State Rep
Congress
Senate (2 races)
President
National PAC

Thank God there are no Judges running for election or I would not have any money left for booze or to bet on the BC this weekend.

I really don't care who someone votes for........as long as they have a well thought out reason why?

For examples,

1. I sat down years ago with my wife's grandmother and asked her what party she identified with. She said she was a "life-long Democrat and that she had never voted for any other party." I said, "Great......now why are you a Democrat?" She said, "My granddaddy was a Democrat, my daddy was a Democrat, and I'm a Democrat."

Soooo, I asked her if she would sit down and take a test to see what party she actually identified with. The first test was a short, 10-15 question test. It said she was a Republican. She was shocked and asked take another......."a better test." So, I found one that was about 100 questions that were really involved........took us about 90 minutes to go through. It said she was a Tea Party.

I've done with a lot of people over the last 20+ yrs......and they very commonly don't actually identify with the party they claim to.

2. Another example are the stigmas attached to the parties. Someone will say, I'm a Democrat because they're for the poor people. I'll then ask how long they've been poor.....and predictably they'll say they've been poor all their lives. Then I'll ask, when they've done well under a President? And predictably they state that never have. Then I'll state, but half of your lifetime has been under Republican control and half under Democrat..........surely you did much better under Democrats, right??

Or, when someone says they're for a Republican due to religious beliefs, etc. Then you show them that the candidate has viewpoints that contradict.

Why do you think Biden is just a figurehead? Because Trump told you or do you have actual evidence? He has tried to be President for 20 years now why would he just be a figurehead when he is right at the doorstep of his life goal?
Anyone who thinks Biden will last 2 years is crazy. Harris will become President and the Speaker of the House becomes VP. Learn civics

Uhhh, never in the history of our country has the Speaker of the House ever ascended to the office of VP if the current President could not complete his term

Just more Fox News "civics lessons" on fearmongering and hate towards Pelosi.

Personally, and I bet many if not most on this thread would agree, that both parties could use some new, younger leadership. Biden and Pelosi and McConnell and Hal Rogers, Trump, et al, sayonara

correct, the 25th Amendment Section 2 gave the President the power to name a new Vice President, if that office became vacant, with the permission of Congress. So if the president died, the VP becomes president and may name their own VP with the approval on Congress.

I think they'd prop up Joe for as long as possible. He'd be more easy to control by the Democrats than Harris. Much like Pence is on the other side, Harris is an extremist whose sole purpose was to garner votes.

A lot of these states, e.g., Wisconsin, Minnesota, are just not likely to be all that close. For President anyway. Would suck to be running for Congress and have a big controversy when it was started by the national parties.

What are you talking about? (1) I didn't run my mouth and (2) the odds are heavily in favor of Biden.

#StayWokeHatboggan
Why should the guy running his mouth get odds?

Cause we didn't want to bet much on the election, and if I win, I will be properly thirsty, and if I lose, Mr. Hankshaker will get the same treatment, as it turns out we know each other on FB and are in the same profession, so will be a pleasant event no matter what.
