My favorite by far was Old crow medicine show at the palace and Iroquois amphitheater. Going to see Willie Nelson Wednesday at Iroquois. Such a great venue
Went to Molly Tuttle earlier this year, Ketch Secor was the unannounced opening act. That was pretty awesome.

This was at the YUM Center on March 10, 2020. Just days before everything shut down.
Gotcha! Saw that one too, they put on a killer live show. We ate at the Celtic Pig Restaurant before the show, it was a ghost town in there because of Covid starting to break.

They are back August 31. I am going again.
We thought about Cinnci, I think they are better suited for outdoors. It just kind of goes with their sound to me. We have kind of sworn off the Yum Center the ticket fees and acoustics have run us off. If it were a once in a lifetime type show maybe. Enjoy though, one of the better live bands out there right now.

The Beatles, Crosley Field, August, 1966, was the most memorable concert. As far as stadium concerts, The Stones at the old Cardinal Stadium during the Steel Wheels tour, 1989, had great production values. As for an intimate concert, I'd go with Muddy Waters at a club in Cleveland around 1975.

Pink Floyd in Rupp (2nd night) in 1987. No words to accurately describe that experience. Absolutely stunning.
John Hiatt at the Red Mile during Memorial Stakes Day. Much of that show was recorded and used on his live album "Hiatt Comes Alive..." Great performance.
Don Henley at Rupp on the last night of his End Of Innocence tour. This was before the Eagles reformed and half of his show was his solo stuff and the other half Eagles. Amazing atmosphere and a phenomenal show.
Alice Cooper at Rupp just a few years ago. Opened for Motley Crue on their "Farewell Tour" lol. AC blew the Crue away. Impressed me so much I have wanted to see AC as a solo act ever since.
Rush at Riverbend. Bucket list show. Packed venue, great weather and the incomparable Neil Peart (RIP). When the opening synth notes of "Subdivisions" dropped I could have sworn the ground moved.
Other notable...Elton John, BOC, Billy Joel

My next show will probably be Judas Priest and Queensryche, November 15 in Corbin. Priest's one of the few remaining bands from my youth that's still around that I want to see and haven't; and I don't know anything about post-Geoff Tate Queensryche, but I love Operation: Mindcrime and I hope I get to see Michael Wilton and Eddie Jackson play Eyes of a Stranger. Anyone else going? :)
I'll be there. Just bought tickets. Small venue, easy access. Personally looking forward to seeing Judas Priest (although I really like Queensryche and seeing them will be an added bonus). Priest has been getting great revues so far on this tour. Hoping for a great show.
A friend from high school will be going with us. He saw Priest at the height of their power back in 1984 in Knoxville. Hasn't seen them since and is excited. LOL

Springsteen in 1984 , born in the USA tour in Rupp .. he played for like 4 hours . Wish he would leave politics out of his career .

He's played the Louisville Palace twice in the last 4/5 years. I would keep an eye out for him there, other than beer prices, it's a great place to see a show.

I remember the promotion for one of his shows there but, I had prior commitments. Still want to catch his show as a solo act. A intimate venue would only enhance the experience IMO.
