Lots of people talking about Ryan Young (rightfully so). I was at the game yesterday and he has the best footwork of any young big I've ever seen at NU and he has the best FT shooting stroke of any center I can ever remember wearing purple.

BUT, we need to talk about Greer aka "the other Ryan." Greer came in and gave really valuable minutes and passed the eyeball test. He's physically bigger (i.e., way more jacked) than Boo and played with confidence and within himself. Glad to see him off the DNP coaches decision list.

And finally, I stayed after the game with my sons so they could get some autographs. Beran, Greer, and Buie were outstanding representatives of the program and very engaged with my five year old. Beran especially seemed like an old pro signing autographs and bantering with parents/fans. Big fan.

Thats really good to hear. Collins has the program less personable than Carmody did.

This was really nice to read. The young players will be around each other a lot for the next few year years. Hopefully they will see more fans as the wins start coming. This team and the hard core fans are going to build a lot of good chemistry.

I thought Greer was solid and he was a lot better than their #2 ball handler, but once they got the starter back on the court Greer couldn’t defend him.

If that was the case, CC should have switched to a zone. in game adjustments have to be made
