Prostitution being illegal is ridiculous. Pay for sex between 2 consenting adults = illegal. Pay 2 consenting adults to have sex, videotape it and sell it = legal. Makes no sense.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like legalized prostitution would be pretty bad for public health, especially seeing that sex goes for $40. Unless the price has gone up since Eugene Robinson got arrested.

Yes, you're probably wrong. Literally 100,000s of people go home and have sex with random people each night and it's not the end of the world. In fact, if it were regulated and people were tested it would probably create a decrease in certain STIs.

That was the speculation, since the police report was unusually vague and gender neutral. Left an unusual amount of room for the prostitute to be a man or tranny.
