Schiano back puts us right back in the game. Possibly avoids paying for all damage Ash has done.
a schiano return launches us past Maryland, Purdue, Illinois, and Indiana immediatelySchiano back puts us right back in the game. Possibly avoids paying for all damage Ash has done.
I think Hobbs and Schiano would be a great team honestly. Both are great with donors. Most head football coaches at successful schools have dominating personalities. I refuse to believe that Hobbs couldn't deal with it.Can we explain this to SCT1111. Not that difficult.
Petrino and Louisville made it work.
The whiny jerks who complained, “Oh he never got us to the next level,” can suck it. He did the absolute impossible. He turned the worst program to some level of competitiveness. No other coach in the 1A era has managed to do that. “Oh, but he left us in a larch.” Shut the hell up. He’s the only coach we haven’t had to shell out a fortune to buy up the remainder of his contract.
Then bye Pat!Don’t think Hobbs wants to be 2nd fiddle to Schiano!
Dude...you serious?I think Ash is 2 years away from building a perennial top 25.... but the question is whether we are patient enough.
He's got a system. I'm dead serious. I think he thought his o-line recruiting would go a lot better than it is right now. Coach Ash knews football better than most head coaches out there. It's always a process with these defensive coordinators turned head coaches.Dude...you serious?
Must be joking. I don't see any overarching philosophy or personality on either side of the ball that suggests a team that can scare an even mediocre team.I think Ash is 2 years away from building a perennial top 25.... but the question is whether we are patient enough.
Regarding Schiano’s interest in returning, before the Tennessee debacle I thought there was zero chance. Now I think there’s a small chance as we may be his best chance for a P5 HC gig, although I do not think everything that would need to happen will fall into place.I would love to have him back but I also don't think that is happening. I can't see why he would ever want to come back. It makes zero sense so I am not getting my hopes up.
If the W-L record were no different against these world-beaters, but we showed some signs of improvement, I could maybe, just maybe believe that. But the mistakes and utter cluelessness these guys display...not a chance. But you believe what you believe and we’ll see. Due to our AD’s bungle, I’m sure CA will still be here in two years. He's got a system. I'm dead serious. I think he thought his o-line recruiting would go a lot better than it is right now. Coach Ash knews football better than most head coaches out there. It's always a process with these defensive coordinators turned head coaches.
Yes, which we should be willing to payCould you imagine how much we'd have to pay to get GS back? Fleck makes $3.75M. GS would want at least $4M/yr for 6 yrs with auto-2yr extensions and $500K raises for every bowl game.
I think Greg might come cheaper and for around what Ash is making ( with incentives clauses to boost salary) .Could you imagine how much we'd have to pay to get GS back? Fleck makes $3.75M. GS would want at least $4M/yr for 6 yrs with auto-2yr extensions and $500K raises for every bowl game.
Prolly heard it at Subway on his break from 7-11.How do you know
