wow, didn’t realize our lack of OG on our roster. All 2019 OL recruits appear to be OTs except Piper, who will probably play defense. I’m thinking we need to hit the juco ranks for OGs until we can obtain commitments from future OGs. Am I missing something?

I wouldn't read too much into that. A few guys are likely slotted into one or the other, but most will be tried out at both positions to see where they fit.

Longer term, Frost loves to pull the guards (think of how Malzahn does that), and we'll need really athletic guys there

But they’re all 6’7 aren’t guards usually 6’4 and under so they can get off the ball and pull quicker?

which ones are 6-7 (I realized you were talking about the recruits, but they I think they are looking to build out the OT's from recruiting and will look near term to the current roster, JUCO's and walk-ons for the interior of the line) the entire roster of linemen is shorter than that from what I see

Jaimes, Farniok (Matt), and Virka are all 6-6 and the rest are shorter.
Lynn and Anderson coming in are 6-7, but Bland and Piper are 6-4

I suspect we're also going to look to the walk-on program to help the interior line in particular

We have 17 lineman on roster, that’s 3 deep for every position. I don’t see an issue in depth, I see an issue in development. And this is not on Austin and the S&C coach. We need 2 years of training, experiences and conditioning to get these guys running our style of offense.
