Canady at almost 40 pitches in 2 innings. We're working her count hard. If we can hold them at 2-0, we might have a shot late. At least wear her down some for round two if we can push her over 120 pitches.

Everett is throwing like crap, so I'd just fold if Tech gets another run. We aren't getting 4+ runs, and can save some pitching. We only have two pitchers really, which has to change if this program is to do more than show up for regionals.
Everett is the only pitcher I expect back next year and that's not guaranteed if she decides to stay out west. Phillips probably back too but she's a big project at best. We don't have money to blow to build a staff, but keep our position players and we might free up a little.

No pitching depth and pitched Chaffin way too much in the regular season. But you can’t lose out of conference games to Jacksonville State, Northwestern State, Middle Tennessee and lose a chance to host.

Wouldn't have anyway. AL was always getting our spot no matter what. We'd be in AZ or Clemson had we won those games.

When she went to Stanford out of high school, no one should have had a problem with it. When she transferred to Texas Tech, she's trash.

We have already beat her once this year. But we need to get things going quickly. 3-0 is as bad as it can get.

We haven't played our best either game of this regional. Some poor defensive play, meh hitting, and erratic pitching. NCAA screwed us sending us to the 12 seed and putting OM over us. It's hard to take women's athletics serious with how they do post season.

Welp… run ruled 10-1. Crazy how a few mistakes make such a big difference. Oh well. Still a chance, but winning tonight, then two tomorrow is going to be a tall order.

Please provide the stats to back that up. I literally know zero people who follow NCAA softball.
Same here. I find it very hard to believe. Looking at the sample size. What I see on YouTube is thousands and thousands of viewers watching sec men’s baseball series. Those numbers are maybe 200 for sec softball games. I know what I see and you can’t make me believe anything else.

Exactly. If you tell me that NCAA baseball is a niche sport and can‘t support itself, I can believe it. If you tell me the woman’s version of it has better viewership, I would call you a liar.

We don't have enough pitching and this staff has to figure out WTF is going on with half *** showing up so much. It's been a theme for several years. Talent? Approach? Whatever, they shouldn't have been playing in Lubbock. Looks like they don't care.
