I also set my DVR for the game and watched my 2 seconds of national TV fame. I'll be humble about it. It's Huggins Heroes who deserve the spotlight. It's so obvious even a caveman can see it. Rootmaster should ask Kevin Hunter of Blue & Gold News about my credentials. Then even he would see how ignorant and hateful he is being. Can't stand being whipped mentally by an 87-year-old, I guess. He probably hated Mickey Furfari, too, my good friend (we phoned each other every month till Mickey's demise). Rootmaster also probably disses Bill Evans and Dick Hudson, who tried to hired me (Bill) and who was my boss at the Charleston Daily Mail (Dick). Both are in that Hall of Fame in Heaven. When I founded the West Virginia all-state high school baseball selections, it was Bill who telegraphed me to make me committee chairman. A job I did till I left for Ohio to make more money as so many native West Virginians have. I'm just a coal miner's son and my parents taught me not to be jealous of someone else's success. Apparently Rootmaster's parents didn't get that message to him. Let's have a chain prayer for his soul and hope he doesn't beat his wife, kick the dog and scream at the neighbor's children on his lawn. It was a great moment for WVU, not me, when TV panned to me because they thought it summed up the game brilliantly. They ARE Huggins Heroes, to me and to every genuine Mountaineer fan who isn't consumed by jealousy. Now, let's move on to talking about beating Kansas IN Kansas. No one is interested in pissing matches between skunks. We want to hear about this amazing young team that could have a season for the ages by the time March Madness rolls around. The Grinch will just have to sulk in his grandma's basement while the rest of us feel good about ourselves and our Mountaineers!!! Let's gooooooooooooo, Mountaineers!!!
