So, seriously, you see this as a good idea?
I don't think it will impact shootings in either direction up or down, unless it becomes hip in the inner cities. Even then, it would be a net zero. They'll still be shooting each other, it'll just be with a ridiculous looking firearm.

Gun design has little impact on my desire to shoot someone. I'd imagine most legal gun owners are of the same mindset.

I think you are missing my point. I'm talking about the situations where cops are called in to an area of an active shooting, show up on the scene, see something that looks like a phone in a person's hands, and have to make a DIFFICULT decision........

I think this puts cops in a dangerous situation. I can't imagine the police unions are happy about this.

This isn't a unique situation. People have been designing this type of crap for years. Same rumbling from gun control types with little to no measurable impact.
