I know that the spring has been focused mostly on QB's, drew barker and Johnson. There is also a Freshman on campus Gunner Hoak from Ohio. I know he will probably redshirt this fall but any word on how he has looked this spring?

Yeah, I wondered about him too. I assume they'll go into the season with Mattingly #3 so as to RS Hoak but I'm curious about his progress.

Should redshirt. The reason he hasn't been mentioned is because he isn't in the competition for 2016, which is what you expect from a new freshman quarterback.
