Kong and others have a right to their opinions it’s there constant bitching just can’t let it go, they remind me of a buddy of mine x wife. I don’t like how this season ended I see a lot of glaring issues, right now coach Rhule is living rent free in there heads

I agree. I’m one of them that constantly complains too. I think my constant frustration with this staff is gone too far. I just want to be a Husker fan again and talk sports. There aren’t Husker fans where I live and no Husker bandwagon fans anymore like there used to be

Believe it or not ive been coming to rivals and posting for 23 years. Basically what we have now on this board right now is a lack of a middle.

We have guys like me that find it hard to see anything positive with the way things are going in the program. Then you have guys that pretend things are right on schedule and nothings broken. The ones that believe a guy like Nelson is a premier back, or this years recruiting class was acceptable Those people drive me and guys like Kong bonkers.

But yes the constant bitching about it does no good. This years over. The class is over. I won’t be doing an off season Natty victory lap but I do love coming here to read about actual stuff, super excited about portal news. Just got to learn to tune the uncle Donnie & Barthel fan club out. If guys on this board want to blow them, that’s them. But in return stop bitching about EVERY DAM THING. Seriously looking at the man in the mirror, the only one i can control. And hope things get better cause I really miss being good in football. It’s super dark right now but just gotta keep walking forward and hope there’s light.

In the words of weezer “I don’t want to be an old man anymore” LOL

Maybe but in the process he could be a drag on Dylan’s value 😕
One thing fans and coaches can't comprehend is the pull of this massive amount of money on decisions and natural character development of a player or a coach. I can't imagine being able to make my brother, or uncle, or myself an extra few million just by using some leverage, threatening to leave or leaving to a better situation. Almost nobody has any experience with this reality, especially without a true skill or talent. Dylan and Donovan aren't professional talents, it is almost like winning the lottery and being able to expand your winnings by messing with different situations. Hopefully we learn that paying a 5 star millions, and hiring his family doesn't equate to success. It was worth the experiment but the rest of the roster is too messed up to just plug in a qb and win games. Now, in 2009, bringing in a 5 star, and hiring his family might have won a national title.

Dylan has already been vastly overpaid the last two seasons. Year 1 he was at $2 mil, and in year 2 he was at $3.5 mil. His production has come nowhere close to matching that value.

I'd much rather drop him and use the NIL savings for DL and OL transfers. I like TJ better anyway.

He was the difference in making two bowl games versus none…that alone pays his tab.

I was with you after TJ's 1st game, but not now. Dylan gives us the best chance against the schedule next year.

Nope

Rhule is a clown

I’m just here telling all you dim bulbs “I told you so” as usual

there are very, very few people on this board who have any clue what good football looks like

I knew after 1 game this soft little feel-good nice guy era would end with a whimper

:ROFLMAO: Wow… That’s rich.

Coming from the guy who originally said we needed to hire SubPrime, said there's no way we’d ever land Dylan, stated UCLA was the most quality win of the season, proclaimed that TJ would be the answer to finishing the season strong, and stated Fred Hoiberg needed to be caned midseason year 3…hard to be believe folks think you’re full of sh*t. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If we want guys who can line up against OSU we’re going to have to probably pay more than other teams for them. It’s market determined.
OSU LOl?!?! We’re never going to be on their level. Minn and Iowa ste the new standard. Let’s try and keep it close or maybe win a few against these guys.

What he says it true. And it is true for most programs including your Hawkeyes. If you wanted team Comprised of 4 and 5 stars you’ll have to outbid the top 10-15 programs to get them.

I think they do alot of cross recruiting. So to say he's a Donnie get my not be genuine. If I remember correctly Barthel was huge in him as well as Trae . So there's that...

Holla
And apparently Rhule said that kid was actually a Barthel get…😕 As usual you’re right on.
