Guy on a Buffalo

Known about this for years. I love it. Just seeing the thread title made me start laughing.
I really like the second “episode” with the baby and the mountain lion.
When I first discovered this I ended up singing the song aloud to myself for weeks. Then I showed it to my wife and we sang it to each other.
Is it a "hey that's a fun song it's stuck in my head" thing or a "I'm going bonkers that song is still in my head" kinda thing? This answer will impact my decision whether to partake.
It's a bit of both. The song is catchy and fun. But just like being tickled is fun for a moment - anything prolonged can be torture. Same with this song. After a while I need a break.
So... There’s two things happening with this video that are worth seeing/hearing.
The first is there really was a guy riding around on a buffalo in an independent movie from the mid 70’s. He and his buddies do all the stunts and animal training. The raccoon that “cooks”, the bear chasing the buffalo... It’s hilarious, and would be with or without the song. More so because they weren’t even trying to be. It’s also straight awesome because what they did with the animals is pretty impressive. The mountain lion scene was not scripted btw. They were filming for a differentiations movie when it attacked him.
The second thing is the song, which narrates the actions of the guy on the buffalo. They cut the movie up and used te most ridiculous (or over the top macho) scenes and improved a silly song to it. It is catchy and fun, but there is a good chance it gets stuck in your head. Every time I find myself singing it I start laughing too because... “break your gun on a stump”

You have no idea what you’ve done sir. I showed this to my boys who showed it to their teacher who then played it on the big board in class and now kids all over their little school are singing about the guy on the buffalo.
It didn’t bother me because every time the song came to mind it gave me a good chuckle about the video again.
