Very good pick ups! Vance is the 4A West runner up and will return quite a few big time D1 players. Can't wait to see how the new signal caller in Sam Branch matures and progresses over the season. Should be a good year in Danviile.

I read something about Sam Branch somewhere in the recent past. It must have been something on line, because he wouldn't have gotten any press up this way. But what sticks in my mind was the article portrayed him in a very positive light.

Anything in depth you can share?

Tommy or Chuck probably knows him better than I do but what I've seen the kid is very tough and he's a good kid. I've never seen him play football in person, but from what I've seen on Hudl and heard from other sources, he's going to be the next big thing out of Danville. I've seen him play JV basketball and he's very aggressive and has a winning attitude. All of his teammates love him and I know he's going to be a leader on and off the field. He's stepping in some HUGE shoes to fill with our Player of the Year QB Hunter Byrnes graduating, but we're expecting big things out of this talented young man.
