Mike Curtis obliterating some moron who ran onto the field during a game is one of the great moments in NFL history, IMO.

I'll say this, I was an early out on BCG, along with Bbdk if I remember correctly. I came to despise him roaming the sidelines as our coach...while others were holding on tight to hope. He wasn't on the level of weirdness of Crean, but he had a combo of dickheadishness and weirdness that was just impossible for me to stomach. I mean, who can be that much of a jerk to Tom Leach?

Those were dark, dark days. The end of the Tubby Era sucked but it was never difficult to cheer for Tubby to have success, unless of course you had gone to 73 mode of just cheering for the sake of change, but even that is different than hating the man himself.

Nevertheless, I found myself in some games with Billy just not caring that we were getting our *** handed to us ===> "YEAH, JUST SIT THERE AND SMIRK YOU DRUNK TOUCHSTICK!"

Most hated UK personality of my lifetime and it's not close.

Truth be told 2007 LSU and *maybe* 2006 UGA are the only two valid field rushings in recent times IMO.

Still disgusts me that we gave UofL the honor. And same for freaking South Carolina (twice).

One of them getting knocked TFO is probably going to be what it takes for something to happen.

Sorry, Max. Nobody's outraged when it's Kentucky. In fact, it merely gives the nation hope that one of our "thugs" will retaliate.

Wait a minute Brooks. Where did the famous Steve got looooooose comment take place? I had always envisioned it happened on the field at Commonwealth.

This. 40-something, dorky white sportswriters calling Okafor "Jah" like they grew up with him playing Nintendo in Chicago irritates the hell out of me for some reason.

As you learned last Friday, that can change very quickly.

Glad to see you learned your lesson and are on your best behavior this week. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, imo.

CRP tried to recruit Jah, but Jah clearly wasn't interested in playing for the type of HOF coach that is interested in developing you as a complete person, not just a ticket to an NBA paycheck.

You need Rob73 to give you a wildcat lesson.

Hint: They don't look like this.

In fact, there is an awesome Wildcat Sculpture on the Avenue of Champions right in front of the Student Center that is a carbon copy of the 'Puma' you love to ***** about.

There aren't many situations more uncomfortable than when everyone in the office KNOWS a coworker is getting canned except him. In the small office setting it's usually quick but when big corporate is involved there are secret audits, 20 minute "procedural" meetings, water fountain whispers, random client folders being accessed, etc. Just kills morale.

Picture all of Brax's family and friends gathered round his casket 60+ years from now as some distinguished gentleman reads Brax's entire twitter history out loud.

Well, if he was in an actual fight, and not squaring up against some short fat clown, he'd be in the perfect position to get knocked out. I always find it kind of funny when people talk **** and stick their heads out while doing it. Pretty much placing their jaw on a tee.

Mags52 had that little fat ish on his show a few days later last year. pretty funny. Matt tried to patiently explain that a fight with an actual physically imposing elite athlete would have been bad news for him, but chubby said "ooooooh, you don't even know, I'm from Fayetteville!!!!"

^ have vintage T-shirts of both of those dudes on them.

Pretty much ANYTHING other than the official "logo" Wildcat or Scratch works for me.

I like that Buckets shirt. Simple, clean, no ******** lines, etc.

...still can't believe there isn't some kind of Booker Reload graphic shirt out there....or at LEAST some Cheesy 'COCK AND RELOAD FOR #9!!!!!" shirt for the poors.

'SportsCenter' to follow Cats' 'Pursuit of Perfection'
Da-da-da, da-da-da.

Thanks to Kentucky's exceptional play this season (Willie Cauley-Stein's numerous posterizing dunks haven't hurt either), the Wildcats have found themselves on ESPN throughout the 2014-15 season. That won't change for as long as the Cats (27-0, 14-0 Southeastern Conference) remain unbeaten.

ESPN and its flagship program, "SportsCenter," will have a reporter recapping each of the Wildcats' games in their "Pursuit of Perfection," as ESPN has dubbed it. Kentucky is the unanimous No. 1 team in the country and is off to its best start in program history.

I bet he wrote "Energy" after Cal loaned* him a copy of "The Energy Bus."

I'm 95% sure that actually happened.

*I doubt Cal actually "loaned" it.

It's a great book, to be honest.

Jon Gordon spoke at our Sales conference last year...and we all got copies. Pretty amazing the stable of coaches/teams/franchises that employ that guy. Pick a successful team, in any sport, and he's done something for them at some point, TS.

Album Power Rankings:

1. 10 Bands
2. Now & Forever
3. Know Yourself
4. Energy
5. 6 Man

(6 God doesn't count as it's been out for 4 months)

-I swear I just can't make it through those types of books. Picked up the most interesting motivational kids book I could find and f*ck if I don't blow through 5 pages and look back and realize I was day dreaming about something else. No idea how I read the Gladwell books.

I gotta have an entertaining storyline.

Re: GYER27-0

Good lord, some people must be struggling these days. Got a call from a financial planner I met with as a resident back in 2006. Have never spoken to since.

"Just wanted to call and check in, see how things were going."

I'm good thanks.

"We'd like to have you come in and go over your financial prospects"

I got somebody for that, thanks.

"Well I'm sure you do by now, be surprised if you didn't. Not trying to steal you away, still think you should come in and let us review what they are doing for you."

I appreciate that, not in Michigan anymore.

"Oh well there is a great web based review we can do, that can let us get started. Are you still at your Hotmail address?"

No. Click.

I need my phone to automatically shut off every night by 8:00 pm if I expect to ever seriously read again.

I have gotten better about putting it away when I get home and have a couple hours with the little one, but after that I stare aimlessly at it until bedtime. Twitter, GAMBOL, catspaw, group texts, etc. More so than any other vice it's the one habit I despise myself for.

Re: GYER27-0

^ same.

I'm a pure Summer reader these days. I roll through 1-2 books per week in the summer. Read every day/evening on the front porch, pool/beach side, vacation, toilet, bedtime, etc, etc. I absolutely crush books in warmer weather for some reason.

..but once it's fall/winter ----> Football, Basketball, Gambol, Catpaw, Twitter, computer, phone, etc.

Just can't seriously commit to anything. Wish I could, as it's a relaxing way to enter sleep mode, but my little twitter/catpaw/gambol/facebook/porn/ig machine in my hand (or close) pretty much ruins it.
