How many of those games have we dropped over the years? Yet somehow these guys find a way. I think Georgia just wore down and panicked when UK didn't fold.

*Yep, that's why I've been hohum on the perfect season. We have a #1 locked up, no reason to care and I'm invested like it's the Natty Title Game. That stress is here for the rest of the way. That's years off the end of my life for sure. Better be worth it.

*Hope Ellis isn't too bad. I give KU **** for him being their focal point but kid seems like a great kid.

*Whew, Twins. Karl. Lee. Stones. Has to be infuriating. Lyles, WCS, Booker, Ulis, Johnson all had pretty rough nights. Couldn't guard a stiff in the first 30 minutes and still come out ahead. Big time hangover game.

Road games are done though. [/QUOTE]

I'm a god damn mess. Zero reason too... we are god damn 30-0 and I'm punching my wall and throwing **** like we still have Billy Clyde on the bench or something.

Yep. Missed FT's and those screens started getting sluggish. Right after Lee came in the tide changed. Gotta be demoralizing to bring a 9th man with fresh legs like that off the bench late in the game.

I mean, if we had 1 loss already we would have probably blown this off as just another off game... Much like what I did when we lost to Vandy in the SECT game... I really didn't give 2 ***** that they lost...

But tonight, if we lost, when absolutely nothing was on the line except a perfect season, my stomach was in knots. The last 25% is going to be the hardest to get through for sure... The SECT was my biggest worry about dropping a game, and it looks like that will still be the case... I guess we'll see if our huge crowd advantage from here on out (save the Sweet 16 and Elite 8) can pump us up for some easy wins.

"Haven't talked to (Indiana athletic director) Fred Glass yet, but I firmly believe Tom Crean is coaching for his job Saturday against Michigan State," longtime Indianapolis columnist and IU graduate Bob Kravitz wrote on Twitter after the game.

^From peegs.

Need an IU win Saturday.

-Getting dominated inside by Iowa. Not good.

-Magnitude of all this is hard to keep up with. Maybe because I'm so nervous I push that part of it to the back of my mind.

-I think we roll UF pretty bad Saturday in a fun celebration.

I'm kind of the opposite... Alone time allows me to release my actual emotions during the game... Screaming at the television. Stomping around if a bad call happens... Aaron hits a game winning 3... I know if there's someone around, I have to bottle that energized neurosis in. And it makes me uncomfortable as touch to just sit there and hold it in. If I'm surrounded by guys who are as crazy as me, then it's a freakin blast... Not that many people out there though.

Screw it.

We' can all make-believe that we're rational, realistic fans, that have a proper perspective on it all. But at the end of the day, I will absolutely throw out all the goodwill I've built up with my wife, make the dog hide, and guarantee a UTC visit for myself, over a game AT UGA, that means nothing.

Making fun of the Montenegrins is pretty declasse IMHO.

It put a real damper on the post-game Twitter feed for me and shows our *** as a fanbase - especially since we are seen as rubes in our own right.

9/10 Kentucky fans in crowd shots could easily be portrayed as slobs, and they can help it more than that poor bastard.

Counterpoint: The dude has a Euromullet, and the mom has obviously been on Fake Taxi. Possibly multiple times. I have it on good authority that the dad is a producer of Fake Taxi, and that's where they met. So we can make fun all we want.

As for the game:
When these guys lock in - what can you do? They clearly DNGAF for 30 minutes tonight. Then, oh yeah, let's play . . . BOOM. Over. And when you are Arkansas or KU or UCLA, and they are locked in for the first 30 minutes? You have no shot.

I just don't know how anyone beats these guys in the NCAA. They will be amped every game, and when a team this large and skilled is playing hard for 40 minutes - you are screwed. Better chance we lose in the SECT than the NCAAT, in my opinion.

I obviously know that the R32 game isn't our scariest game, but it's the very last time these guys won't - possibly - come out full throttle, so really, it's the last chance anyone has to beat us. ZERO chance Cal doesn't have these guys CRUSHING in the the S16-FF. Zero.

I think UVA has a chance, Wisky has a very small chance, Duke won't get to us, Nova is a wildcard, but probably no chance, and AZ has a small chance to beat us. Everyone else, TFP, see you in 2016.

Oh, and color me SHOCKED that Duke has already (within 24 hours) determined that Coach K and the bball staff acted COMPLETELY APPROPRIATELY in regards to the RS rape allegations. I can't believe they were able to correctly sort everything out that fast. Good work, Duke, good work. Great job determining that Bball doesn't run **** at Duke!

-25-8 in the last 9 minutes.

-The moment was just too big for UGA. Missed front ends, shooting off the side of the backboard, etc.

-We went a lot with Ulis at the 1 and Andrew on the wing. Probably what we will see the rest of the way.

I don't know if it was that we didn't give a touch (well, besides WCS). We were ripe for the upset and, more importantly, Fox's game plan was outstanding. Plus, we couldn't hit anything. Georgia under Fox always plays us tough.

We need to get Booker going again.

It was awesome how Aaron responded in the second half. That was All-American ****.

Andrew has been great.

Mark Fox is ALL IN on Kentucky going undefeated. Showed us the game plan that will beat us. And we responded. Now, other teams are pretty much screwed. We won't make the mistakes of the first 30 minutes again.

Thanks Mark Fox!

I'm looking forward to a fresh bunch of referees in the NCAA tourney. The SEC crews are inept.

The only thing I hate worse than snow is GYERO apologies, especially ones that aren't needed (WCC). But that reminds me. My top 5 favorite redasses (in alphabetical order):

Redass assistbyredass
Redass BKH
Redass Booker
Redass Chase
Redass Richie
Redass WCC

Touch you, I know there are 6

No shock that Ulis has become one of Cal's crunch-time guys along with the Harrisons, Towns, and (when he's awake) WCS. GYERO fingerblasted me back in August when I said this would happen.

-So, has Towns become our 'go to' guy when we really need a bucket? Seems that way.

Man, that stretch where he kept scoring to keep it within 4-6 (when we couldn't get a stop) was HUGE. His FG% over his last 30 or so attempts is ridiculous...they threw out a stat during the Arkansas game that he was 18 for his last 21 at that point, or something like that.

-Last night KAT did offensively what Nerlens Noel did defensively at Ole Miss. Just domination. That dude... Jesus.

-Amazing how limited Lyles decides to become some games. Seems like every one of his jumpers could have been an easy ball fake, drive, dish or finish, which he's pretty good at. Frustrating.

-Big boy stuff from the Harrisons.

-"Ballgame." "That's ballgame." Apparently my go-to last night. The lass mocked me for it as soon as I crawled in bed with her best SAE impression. Think she's starting to get it.

-No more road games...

Is next year the year that Dakari makes the effort to jump off the ground on a post move? maybe he's saving that for later this season?
