Recall deciding that 2-3 days leaving the lass home with the child wasn't worth it heading into the tourney run. I'll need the capital more in the coming weeks. It's a strategic play, but difficult to come to grips with now.

Good news is that you can still make an in-the-moment bad (good) decision and roll down at a moment's notice. There will be *many* who make that play this weekend, I'm sure.

We didn't find out what kind of kid we were having, but I know a woman who was told and shown that she was going to have a girl. Painted rooms pink, got a whole bunch of monogrammed girl stuff, etc.

Welp, baby came out and it was a boy. Oops!

So that's what I'm rooting for everytime I see "reveal party" pictures on Facebook. Rooting for it pretty hard, actually.

Learn Clark.

Just dig deep, buy her something real nice to get the hens clucking, and head on down.

Team Wheatus, love that song.

Dinner at Malone's last night was good. Only real complaint was the service-they were too friendly, coming by too much. I mean thanks for taking an interest, but we were in the middle of an intense conversation and didnt really want to be disturbed with your chit chat bub. Glasses were full, foods on the way, thanks.

Damn helicopter crash in Destin, only thing bringing me down today.

- That terrible song has 52+ million views. I don't know how that's possible and I don't mean that rhetorically. It really seems impossible.
Thought that was Weazer. My whole HS did. Weazer was huge in the weirdo circles and that song made the kids go nuts.

I liked the video.

But that wasn't Weazer? Is Wheatus part Weazer?

By the palace is BBC, sports and social, then over on main about 10 bars you can chose from.

-BM31 should grab bnozo and roll down late Friday or early Saturday. Easy call.

Gambol

-I think she's having one shower. I'm not going. I've heard of these push presents, they're ******** but I probably won't be the cheap ******* who doesn't do it.

Latest bracketology from Mandel:

8 - Xavier
9 - Oklahoma State

4 - Oklahoma
5 - UNC

2 - Wisconsin
3 - Notre Dame

He also has a potential 4/5 matchup of Louisville/Arkansas in the West. I wouldn't mind seeing that a bit.

SAE...

It's all good. Not making the trip to Nashville either for the same reasons.

There's always the ability to show out on Saturday afternoon on Bardstown Rd for the St Patty's celebraish. Not a bad consolation.

I'm gonna get turnt.

If there was a record for tweeting links to your own article, Matt Norlander has shattered it. That dude has pimped his article no less than 700 times since yesterday. Calm down, nerd.

I have the green light.

Coming down Thursday night after work. Wife and baby may or may not come down Friday evening.

But either way, I'll be there. Don't have tix, tho. Will probably post up with the crew at HQ and see what develops.

Congrats, bub.

Hopefully you told her Broadway is no place for an infant, at least not this weekend.

Text Convo:

SAE: We have any plans this weekend?

SAE-Lass: Parade Sat but the weather looks yucky.

SAE: Yea... Don't want to take (16 month toddler) into that mess.

(5 minute interlude)

SAE: All the conference games are on this weekend.

SAE-Lass: No that's why I asked my parents to come watch her so we could go. I told you that!

SAE: Oh yea! Sorry! Busy day!

Folks are 30 minutes south in Murfreesboro so if she decides to come down, that's where they'll stay and my mother will more than gladly watch baby allowing LSAT to party with on Saturday.

We'll also have a DD ride with my old man (boy scout) going home after each night session so that helps too.

Ah, that's ideal. May even earn you some 'points' for future weeks...

Cap it off with a romantic dinner at J. Alexanders ------->

Jason (Cincy)

How many Kentucky players do you currently see being drafted in the 1st round?Chad Ford
(1:28 PM)

4 for sure: Karl-Anthony Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein, Devin Booker, Trey Lyles. All four could even end up in the lottery. A fifth, Dakari Johnson, is on the first round bubble. Lots of teams like Tyler Ulis as well, but I think most everyone feels he won't declare. The Harrison twins, Alex Poythress and Marcus Lee are second rounders to undrafted right now.

Dakari coming back is *very* underrated for next year's prospects, imo.

Yep, especially since I don't think UK currently leads for any of the remaining bigs in the class, with the possible exception of THON. Meyer thinks Zimmerman favors UK, but I think he stays out west. Diallo, Swanigan, Rabb....all headed elsewhere, IMO.

Random Thought I've had recently:

I know it's a longshot, but IF the Twins become 4 year players, they're gonna pretty much OWN the record books around here, and especially at their positions.

And when you add up their winning resume with Final 4s, (Hopefully) titles, in addition to all the records/placement they'll have on the career stats lists --------> they'd be in the Rafters one day, TS.

Kinda crazy to think about.

So my mom booked me a trip to Florida leaving Easter Sunday. She's helped me out a ton the past 6 months, and she really wants us to visit her and see her new place.

Torn.

But I've seen us lose in the Final Four in 1993, 1997, 2011, and 2014. I did not attend the 1996 or 2012 Final Fours. I did attend the 1998 Final Four.

So basically I'm 1-5 in the Final Four. CATS are 2-2 in Final Fours I haven't attended in my adult lifetime.

Florida it is. But I'm sad about it.

Yeah, they would pretty much be all-timers. Blow Keith Bogans out of the water.

I have no idea if this has entered their minds, but you're right. They really could end up as historic greats here if they want to hang around for two more years.

Plus ive got it on good authority that next season he will add a "jump" to his offensive game.

I go back and watch last years S16 game vs UL quite a bit, and *that* Dakari is a 1st rounder. He played possessed. Then had a great off season, improved his body and he has a motor now, but goodness when he gets the ball in the post i immediately start a negative Dakari text message.

Helluva foundation inside- Johnson, Poythress, Lee and Willis to go along with Labissere

Man, I'd love to have the twins back. Go 3-guard offense with those two and Ulis/Briscoe.

All we would need to add is a stud wing like Brown.

Exactly, and he's 'fringe' on most people's lists, without even a Final 4.

They'd be locks & pretty much immortal after it was all said & done if things continue as they are.

In all honesty, an NBA team would be pretty stupid to draft Dakari right now. His inability to jump over a blade of grass, and his resulting inability to finish, along with his lack of shooting are going to be real problems for him. He's a really good college player, but I don't see how he makes much of an impact in the NBA.

I think if Newman goes LSU, Brown is ours. Nothing but a hunch. Especially if the twins leave.

Dakari made some great improvements over the summer...and he just needs to do it AGAIN. And then maybe again. He can have a nice career as an NBA backup, or maybe even more than that on the right team.

You only have to look as far as Rakeem Christmas to see it can be done. It took him awhile (his entire career), but that dude is a BEAST.

Is there any bigger of a lock for the person on gyero who would give in to all stupid hen games like "push present", couples shower, etc etc, than SAE?
Its not even close is it?
