#TeamNoSleep

Like I told Mags52 on Twitter.com, hate the idea of UK doing some "recognition" of an undefeated reg season if we win after the game. Plenty of time after the season is over for that kind of ish. Don't send a message that the job is done to this team prematurely.

Disagree. I think we should recognize it in some manner. These guys aren't stupid, they aren't going to think the job is done. We celebrated 2000 wins, we can at least do a little something here.

Re: GYER30-0

EKU so over coached the end of that Belmont game I was glad they lost.

Down 1 with the ball and 20+ seconds left...timeout EKU.
Advance the ball, 13 seconds left... timeout EKU.
Inbound the ball, couple of dribbles, 5 seconds left... timeout EKU.

All to set up a guard going one on one and putting up a contested runner. Clank.

Re: GYER30-0

Celebrating regular season accomplishments reminds me of the Tubby era. Too much bad karma with that, there is plenty of time for a celebration in April.

I seem to recall a certain Kentucky team declining to cut down the SEC championship nets because they wanted to come back and do it at the Final Four. They obviously didn't think the job was done, and it didn't matter.

Fans tend to overestimate how much the small parts we play impact the players. I don't need to be mentally ready for Florida. It's not a problem if I'm looking past our 2nd round opponent. Why? Because I'm literally going to be eating pulled pork nachos on my couch or at a bar during those events.

Go to the games, get into the opposing gyms, travel to the tournament games, scream your lungs out while you're there. Don't stalk players online or otherwise. That's our impact. That's the list. Anything else is just delusions of grandeur. A small recognition isn't going to hurt anything.

Re: GYER30-0

Fans standing the last 4 minutes and applauding should happen anyway! Amazing what years of the elderly sitting front row has done to our perceptions that we even consider this call to action a recognition.

GTFup and give these kids a standing O!

We aren't going to lose. Reward the kids. We will cut down the nets when the time is right. This team will go 40-0. Enjoy the ride.

GAMBOL, whew. Head is spinning with all the action today...last full Saturday of non-postseason (which is much harder) action.

Any strong feelings on plays today?

Whoever is insuring these Half-court shots is having a bad year.

Seems like it's about 50-50 this year.

I'm not a college basketball but I just don't see how Louisville hangs with Virginia, even at home on Junior-But-Not-Sophomore Day.

Thanks Bob.

Read that yesterday when Chad linked it (after it was linked 100x on Twitter hours earlier) while you were searching for Naughty Teachers.

False. In fact, that 18K most likely comes from their multimillion yearly marketing budget.

Thanks for the rec.
Got a bunch of clothes there too, do you have any suggestions for better places?

Only went there to burn time while waiting for Milestone to open -- Grabbed a touching Chuck Roast & some cleaning supplies ti make my trip worth something. I mean, it's a touching Chuck Roast.

Fyi, I get my Pork butts at 'Priceless Foods' in Valley station. Like half the size of the full sized ones at most places (which would go to waste) and $5.

Got the rest at Lucky's ----> which I worship, and go every Saturday or Sunday. That place is Whole Foods Organic Selection + Trader Joe's prices...especially Produce, which is cheaper than anywhere (Kroger). Hass Avocados 2 for $1?

Love that place.

UK, Oklahoma, and Auburn are my only plays. Hate these days, and with tourney time coming I don't want to be in a hole to start.

Re: GYER30-0

Yep, had that same mentality that led me to betting on the Warriors -13.5 vs the Bucks in Golden State for all I was up, over confident from a weeks worth of winning and BOOM, gambol smacks me in the face. Back to baby stepping my way back up before tourney. I'm awful when I'm behind and gambol. Might as well give the bookie an open check to cash when I'm done self destructing.

Anyone ever try these 'Dollar Shave Club' razors? They as cheap as the commercials?

Can't even remember the last time I used a razor above the neck. Stubble seems to be more 'in' anyhow. Waaaay more convenient... that's for sure.

Tough, but possible. UVA has the ACC reg season locked up. Justin Anderson out with touching appendicitis. UL sending TREZ and CHRIS and WAYNE off for senior day. Hopefully, WWW can send some more of his paid off refs to seal it for UVA.

Man, Valentine is the ultimate/typical Izzo utility vet...what a great all-around college basketball player that guy is.

I bet on IU with my typical 'hedge' style...great if I win $$, but if they lose I still get some satisfaction. Yes, even with the Crean situation.

Obviously I don't have sources like Chief's, but in my opinion Indiana isn't going to swallow even the 7.5 million it will take in July to get rid of him. I think they're stuck with him for at least another year, no matter what.

My sources say that Mark Cuban will write the check if they decide to get rid of Crean.

Friend of mine at work who is an IU grad and big fan cannot wait for Crean to be fired. He couldn't be a nicer guy but he loathes Crean. Loathes.
