I'm not impressed by his coaching tree. Besides Donovan, who from his tree has really done much?

(no one else answer please, I'm trying to trick him into saying something nice about Tubby)

Extremely jealous of the students at BU having a great basketball team. The teams we had were AWFUL. Fun to watch, and I was friends with the entire team, but they were AWFUL.

Dang, NCAA ended 5th year transfers for next season? Does that change Gordon's transfer? Also, Pitino had said he was going after a couple of those guys. No good news for the L-Dawgs.

Was pretty cool seeing Wayne, DA, Mercer, Delk, McCarty, Pope and the boys everyday at lunch in the student center.

Yeah, I'd say this was a bit different. Like the article says, the athletes in small schools are just another student. We're not talking about the rockstars of D1 athletics.

You were there when Charlie Just was still coaching...it got SO MUCH WORSE after he left. Chris Pullem combined all of the worst attributes of Rick Pitino and Bobby Knight, with ANY of the coaching acumen. Just miserable to be around.

TERRY. Q. MEGA. MANJOK. WAYYYYNE. RICK.

Just go the touch away already. You were a higher seed in both wins playing 2 mid majors with 2 first rd draft picks & a senior McD's AA.

Spare me the bs. You should win those games.

Blue Ash Chili for lunch today…

Gonna get the Chili Philly as seen on Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Basically, a philly cheesesteak topped with cincy-style chili and fried jalapeño caps.

Boat, letting you know now that it is probably not for a SchemBean wannabe like you.

Sounds healthy and
Enjoy.

-Sloot (or whoever). How do the local radio guys get paid for their radio spots (Deener, Vanetti, Jones, etc) Seems like that would be a nice supplemental income for those guys considering they seemingly have 4 out of 5 commercials on local sports radio...or nah?

I was asking about their never-ending/nonstop advertising/radio spots. They have to be getting paid something.

UK is in the Finals, and awaits the winner of Duke/UofL in the Final 4 for the title. Who you pulling for?

I know it would be risky & miserable, but UofL without flinching for me, THIS year. Past years it would have been a different answer.

Maybe still my favorite win of the Calipari era because it made so many "haters" look so stupid.

Grief. This guy is the worst.

And no, just because I'm talking about it now doesn't mean he's 'done his job', incited debate or whatever.

Would rather play Duke, they have pretty much owned us in the modern series would be nice to get one on them in the title game. Obviously I think we beat either team, and a UofL would make the game even uglier than your typical dome title game.

I think Duke would get us 3 out of 10, maybe slightly more, depending on their shooting.

Louisville could maybe get us 1 out of 20.

No brainer THIS year, imo.

Louisville and it's not even a question. We match up better with them and Duke is the team more likely to beat us.

Unless you're one of those losers who hates Louisville more than you love UK, the answer is pretty simple.

if UK already won & was in the final, I cannot imagine any opponent in the history of the sport who I would want UL to beat. Gimme Duke all/air. besides, from a basketball point of view Duke plays no defense as compared to the hacking/jabbing/kicking of Floyd St U. Love to watch us win by scoring a ton rather than a 50-45 miserable rockfight.

Has UL fan forgotten that they too have a game to play? I mean they seem aware that they are still in this thing but only seem to focus on EVERY reason UK will in fact lose to WVU.

It has become increasingly harder to not be cocky toward these people and I don't see it getting any easier whether they win or lose.

Duke or UL? UL, if they make it that far I'd never hear the end of it whether they won or lost anyway, so adding #9 and capping off an undefeated year by curb stomping these pieces of trash would possibly be the only way to shut them up.

Of course then they would have done us a favor by knocking off the best team in Duke, or use the Chris Jones excuse, or something.......it never ends with these losers.

Give me UofL. Better odds with more upside. Easy.

Also, their tears are intoxicating at this point.

This past summer a buddy of mine (raging UK fan) late night made a trip to Diorio's to cap off a St Matt's bar night.

Diorio's is owned & run by huge UL supporters.

Anyway, he's posted up at the bar knee slapping drunk waiting on his slice of Za.. Ole LUUUUUUUKE himself comes out of the kitchen serving him his slice. Said he almost fell over on his back with disbelief and laughter.

I'm not sure about Duke getting us 3+ out of 10. I think we'd beat them more often than that. We won't have to double Okafor, and our length is going to make it very difficult for them to get open threes. And if they aren't making threes against us, then they are probably getting beat pretty badly.

Obviously, Louisville is still the much easier game, because they just aren't very good.

IMO, Arizona is by far our scariest potential game left. Wisconsin doesn't really have the depth or athletes to give us a lot of problems. Kaminsky won't be able to do **** down low. Hell, he struggled against Oregon. Gonzaga doesn't play good enough defense to hang with us. WVU is just not very good. Notre Dame can't guard and has exactly one big guy. Wichita State just doesn't have the fire power. Mehchigan State, Oklahoma, Utah, et al don't really scare me at all.

I guess some of you have forgotten what a great big game team Duke is this year. Cut your sleeves off and flex all you want, but I don't want to see those MFers in a one game scenario.

Rock fight or not, Louisville has no chance to beat Kentucky. None.

Oh, I'd much rather play Louisville than NC State. They're an SEC West team but ****- Cat Barber, two deadeyes in Turner and Lacey and then some good bigs. Calipari would have that team a 2-seed.

He's gotta learn defense but he's making it a lot easier on them.

They're gonna be scary assuming Durant's foot isn't turning chronic (probably not - he's light enough unlike other historical bad feet big men) and he re-signs.

Terribad coach though.
