Chase is right for 1/2 of the games so far....

What are ppl gonna say now? I guess ND can get cocky if they want to... But deep inside, they are shitting themselves.

All I'm saying is that I wish they'd keep it bottled up, whatever it is that the trash talk ignited.

But you're drunk(shocking!!) so I understand.

I just don't understand this line of thinking...

I'm
worried as **** about Staten and our guards staying in front keeping
him out of the paint. He's a blur and has that potential to play out
his ***, kick to open shooters, make circus shots, etc...

It's
going to a sloppy and frantic game. We're going to turn it over a bunch
so take your meds ahead of time. And Huggins has a pretty good track
history against Cal, too.

I think we will win but It's not going to be a breeze by any means.
Sorry but I had to Geese... Have a little more faith in your 37-0 Cats will ya?

I think only 1 or 2 of our 10
turnovers were to the actual press.

By the way, any notice the play in the 1st half where the WVU guy faked a shot then stepped about 5 feet inside the arc and buried a jumper? He was seriously like 5-6 feet inside the 3 point line. Yet the ref pulled his arm up and then put both arms up signaling the kid made a 3. The scorers gave hi a 3 based on the ref.

We aren't talking about toe on the line, we are talking about 5 feet inside the line. They later changed it to a 2, but it begs the question - was that ref on the take or just COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. The call was that bad. I mean nowhere near the line. [/QUOTE]

And F'ing Len Elmore- who CLEARLY KNEW IT WAS A 3 - simply says, "And they gave him a 3 as well. That's the great equalizer."

********.

--Can't wait for Friday night. It will be soooooo much better and more fun than watching the game tonight.

--I like listening to Webber. I like Marv, too, but I thought he was off his game a few times with takes that showed he did little research.

--I like Kenny Smith. But I like his wife better. I'd wekk to her on Price Is Right if I wasn't watching from my place of business. Might have to check out their reality show (which I'm sure will be just awful).

Should be an early day today and off all day Saturday. Going to be great.

Backup cal Sunday 7P-7A, but that's it.

Appreciate ya looking out.

-Man I was fired up last night reading all these hot takes about how "can't set up press if you cant score!!!" Well dipshits WVU still pressed off all of their TOs, jump balls, offensive fouls; oh, and off misses too!

Aaaaaand, even if they did set it up, aside from those two back to back TOs, it was completely ineffective.

But that doesn't fit the narrative that they're all lazy asshats who didn't put in the effort to find that pressing us is the last thing you want to do.

-Booker. Love.

-We are not losing. These guys are dialed in, those quotes after game were incredible.

-Webber straight sucks as a TV commentator.

-Really couldn't believe how out of hand it got so quickly. THIS is the Kentucky team we wish we could see play every game. I hope THIS is the Kentucky team we see for the next 3 games. Sure am hoping a Notre Dame bench player can start a twitter controversy in the next 24 hours.

-Anyone noticed that Booker is no longer cocking his 3 point shotgun after hotting a 3?

-Even after a straight *** beating, Cal and Huggy had a nice exchange after the game. Can tell they truly are buddies.

-Hello, Shane Battier, are you out there? I cant hear you.....
And the national media just made a big U turn and now is right back on the Cats nuts.

Welp, TFP Tyndall. Apparently Tennessee firing his *** today. That's a team that should go all in on Marshall and see what happens.

Indiana, IMO. They've neutered one of the best programs in college basketball for the last 25 years.

Notre Dame's players were referencing playing Duke and UNC as good preparation for the height of UK. No. I don't think these teams appreciate just how monstrous UK is until they are on the court with them. WVU was clearly shellshocked. And for good reason - they looked like a high school team in comparison.

I also think the minutes Notre Dame asks its starters to play will be a huge problem Saturday. I think we're gonna see the team that played Northeastern/Butler instead of the team we saw last night.

Really good to see Dakari have a confidence building ball game. Same with Bker.

That around the back circus shot by Andrew tho.

I don't mind the **** talk on Twitter after the game. Bookers 36 and won had like 10,000 retweets when I went to bed.

I hope we get the normal Irish team Ive seen a number of times this year. When they play like last night and in the ACC championship game they are dangerous.

For the medical guys, will the finger really even affect Harrison Saturday?

The bigger question for me is- how is ND going to stop us? Seriously. This is a mediocre-at-best defensive unit that starts a 6'5" honk at PF.

I love watching ND play. If they weren't in UK's region, I'd be rooting like hell for them...but UK wins comfortably tomorrow.

Willie Cauley-Stein, Kentucky's junior forward and locker-room philosopher, brushed off text and Twitter warnings about the Mountaineers, who entered the game No. 1 in the nation in turnovers-forced percentage. "I had people telling me, 'Man, their press, their press!' [And] I'm like, 'Dude, come on, get off my phone with their press,'" Cauley-Stein said. "Teams try to press us. It doesn't work. You're gonna give up lobs. You're gonna give up layups. You're gonna give up open shots. That's not the way to beat us. It's funny when you watch the TV on ways to beat us. … [It's] like, what else do you want to add? 'You gotta have rocket shoes so you can jump up and get their balls before they go in the hoop! What else are they going to come up with?"

I don't know how ND handles us defensively. The rebounding margin could be astronomical. And if that Auguste kid gets in foul trouble early ...

Aaron's finger probably doesn't feel great, but he should be fine with it taped up. Good thing it's not his shooting hand.

To piggyback on UCL, WVU and ND fans kept talking about how long UK is. They know weekday time it is.

Awesome night and I feel great this morning. Sobers up during game, had one celebratory beer after them came back to the telly. Ordered in wings and ate my fat *** to sleep.

Canton today or nah?

If we make it by ND i want to play Arizona. I thought Wisconsin looked better last night and they have Final Four experience and of course the revenge factor for losing last year. Seems like teams that make the Final Four and lose and have that experience and come back the next year push through and move on. Seems to happen like that in all sports. This would be Miller's first Final Four and for me i'd just rather play them. I truly think there is something to having already handled the whole experience before. Probably alot of varying opinions on this one but give me AZ if we get to the FF.

Wetzel is great. Seems very even keel, even when it's not pro Cayts.

I do think Wisconsin poses a problem. But not because of Kaminsky. Sam Dekker is more of a threat to us. Anyone really think Kaminsky is going to go off on WCS, KAT or even Dakari?

Never realized how little depth ND has. Basically played 6 guys last night with a 7th only seeing 4 minutes.

Surely that plays a big factor in Saturday's game, right?

Indiana has to be the worst-run athletic department in the country. Our football program is legendary compared to theirs. Seriously, a game in Bloomington is like spending a Friday night at Dunbar High. And their basketball program has floundered with one terrible hire after another, while also continuously being haunted by the ghost of Bob Knight.

Donnie Tyndall =
. Is he the most ordinary/average coach to ever land 3 different schools on probation?

E8 RANDOMS:

- I like Marv and Webber a lot, actually. Marv's an all-timer and Webber's excellent. Elmore needs to retire.

- Have no beef with Huggins.

- Love how the team parrots Cal's sayings- "Scared money don't make no money"; "At some point, they have to step into the ring."
How badass is that?

- Nice to have Booker back.

- Towns needs to eliminate the silly fouls. He's so obvious about it, too. Said it before, I'd almost rather just start Ulis in his place and put Lyles at the 4. Bring Towns in at the 15 minute mark. Dude's in early foul trouble every other game.

- Andrew's circus shot wasn't even his best play of the night. It was his burst splitting the guards and no-look lob to WCS. Kid is playing like a 1st rounder.

-
How about freaking Lyles? What a stud. He's not coming back, but if he did, that's a Top 5 pick in 2016. He'll ever soar up the draft charts into Top 10ish territory this year or be a steal around 14/15/16.

- How about putting WCS on Grant? Thoughts?

- I still don't know who'd I'd prefer over Wisky and Arizona. Really like both teams and can understand all the arguments. Wisky has 5 dudes who can pass, shoot and move without the ball. Arizona has long, athletic talent and a savvy floor general in McConnell who always make big plays. We're better but both are really good teams.

- Freakin' Sam Dekker was a STUD last night. Won the game for them.

- I don't know what Marshall will do. In some ways, I see Bama as a very attractive job, but in other ways, I don't. Plus, he'll have one of the Top 5 backcourts in basketball back again. Tough to leave Baker and Van Vleet as seniors.

Webber was pretty dumb when he started talking about Notre Dame and saying they would spread it out and make WCS guard places he isn't used to guarding.

Seriously?
