Speaking of healthy diet…🫠
The brisket is reluctantly emerging through its stall, up to 172°. Smoked pure Wagyu tallow is dark liquid gold awaiting to be poured on the butcher paper wrap for the finale to 203°.
All going according to Hoyle. Back in the day, I would’ve been freaking out as the temps were stuck a couple hours in the mid 160°s. Just chill, keep the pit constant and let it do it’s thing.
The key is to start in with ample time. No shortcuts in BBQ. You’re on its schedule.
Love working remotely on Fridays. About to have a pour of Michters Toasted Rye, just because.

I got no real expectations for this weekend with UK/UT and Levis starting for the Titans. But I’m as excited for this weekend in football as I’ve ever been. Looking forward to it.

The Taki Fuego chips that come in a can like Pringles aren't bad at all. And we seemingly have enough at our house at any given time to supply an entire middle school.

Ended up grabbing lunch at a bougie little frou-frou farm to table called Solidago in… Paint Lick. It was great, as was the location. Perfect little postcard of a town, at least today. Light drizzle, overcast, leaves absolutely popping. Felt like I was in rural Vermont or something. Met the owner and it turns out we run in some of the same circles. Small world. Love stumbling upon a hidden gem. Recommend.

-Love that meatheads get grief on here yet people lost their entire recipe and cooking times and grills and that’s okay. I couldn’t give half a touch how anyone cooks anything. If I need a recipe I’ll just hop on the Ol internet because it has infinity recipes.
-If you’re a movie goer and don’t have the AMC+ you’re missing out. 3 movies a week for $23 so basically if you see two movies a month or one IMAX it’s paid for completely. I see a lot of movies.
Nothing going on tonight so was going to the Swift movie but of course it’s not allowed with the AMC+ so I’m going to see a, I’m sure, awful John Cena movie tonight.
-Cruising around town on an e bike is amazing.
-Gal pal here seems annoyed with me we haven’t jumped straight into a relationship. I’m like slow down and let me get settled, a job and of course see the options out there first.
-cole is a negative, hate-spreading *******. I don’t care what he’s like in real life, bro is just a contrarian Dick on the internet. I guess he gets off on that idk.
I mean, I play up the gym beach bro for funsies but it’s not angry, know-it-all dickery. Like wtf man?

The UK Men’s Soccer teams is having the strangest season possible. Started the year with 2 wins as the #2 team in the country, only won one game over the next 11, beat #1 ranked Marshall on Sunday, WVU took over as #1 and then they beat them tonight.
