Planning a 2-3 day getaway for just the wife and I Dec 20-22 to New York City. Hopefully this counts as her gift.
Staying in between Central Park and Rockefeller Center so like 2 blocks each way. Assume there is shopping and restaurants all over, but looking for Italian recommendations for dinner and a decent shopping strip for a day.

Had the pimento cheese chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A today for the first time. In the words of Judy Gemstone, “that’s a nah son for me.” It just doesn’t work.
Man I don’t know, when I was letting it all go the last few weeks up there I smashed quite a few of those and thought the sweet and spicy combo was really good.
I was a bit confused by it myself. It’s fine, don’t love the honey, but definitely back to the classic & undefeated Spicy + cheese for me.
I love Joellas spicy pimento cheese chicken sambo tho, same for Bojangles biscuit.
On the spicy one it’s pepper Jack and 
on the spicy one for sure
Literally 3 of the 6 sandwich combo meals on CFA current menu have cheese, so clearly nobody.

They did a 3 month complete renovation….and miraculously look exactly the same, except now they have 2 drive thru pick up lines and service is absolutely atrocious. It’s impossible to eat there. F them and f anybody who puts cheese on fried chicken. Weird *** cult people.
