Bonzo's lack of game caused me to have a dream on Saturday night that we all collectively decided I was going to have to be the one to date him. Even though I'm married and stayed married in the dream. Anth was even on board with it. 🤣 I'm not really sure what to make of it, but the fact that he had a smoking hot 35 year old fawning over him all evening after the game and nothing came of it...

-@roguemocha, I like food posts and I certainly make note of @Kooky Kats cooking recommendations.

-@RibsAndWhiteBread, sorry that L was giving eyes to your girl, but she is a cutie and was wearing blue & white. Glad to see you both days! That may have been a first! Or at least a first in a long time.

-Tailgate season is fun and I truly look forward to each home game and cooking, hosting, hanging out with Wildcat Friends, etc. But it's nice to put all the stuff away til next September. Random booze, mixers, C-A-T-S sign, balloons, blow up wildcat, serving platters, etc. Now on to Christmas decor.

- @B.B.d.K. and @PTI (pti) rolling in after midnight and sleeping on the couches was a nice blast from the past to close out the season. They both almost met their demise though since the back door was open all f*cking night long. Good thing my cats didn't decide to mosey outside. Y'all would be dead.

I get people being foodies, I reckon I just get a recipe from the internet and go with it. Or I just add Kerrygold butter, salt and pepper to everything and call it a day.

I’ve always been able to eat anything and not care about the taste necessarily.

Now going out to eat and paying for a nice dinner I want that to be 🔥.

-Touch it, I’m going to get a little Christmas tree this week. I want to holiday up the little space I have and since gma passed and thanksgiving was our holiday together and that’s gone so Christmas it is!

-It’s one of the pillars now @rudd1

I promise you we weren’t talking duck recipes in the mid to late aughts.

If that were true I would’ve never stuck around.

I think that it’s not just this one girl. We’ve been trying to get Bonzo properly married and familied up for years. It just never works out.

Bonz is the unique case of salt of the earth guy + no patience + self sabotage + friend zone angle. You get stuck in the long play but don't have the patience to see it through.

We're taking applications to join the 'Bonz Group Therapy' thread if anyone is interested. Serious applicants only.

It's always fun after a soul crushing loss in football to go over to the HOB and see Chad post one of his " you are UK football, know your roll, you have always sucked" post. The guy is about as much of a UK fan as UKO.

Soul-crushing 🙄

I watched all of BBdK’s IG reels. MFers were partying like it was Crab Island. Everyone’s souls were fat, drunk and perfectly fine.

Don’t blame Wodie for that. We all know the culprit there.

6-10pm was a complete **** show. I had pulled back during a 2.5 hour endeavor to find "duckie" (his most prized stuffed animal) for L. Somehow got lost in the ordeal. Ended up cleaning as the drunk level steadily increased.

- Shout out @Ron Mehico for the Nemacolin babymoon rec.

- Was down to it and Blackberry but it had a 3-night min. Beautiful area and wonderful resort overall. 4.5 hours away in the mountains of southern Pennsylvania. Nice. Relaxing. Great restaurants. NY Strip Friday night. Hit the spa for a massage Saturday morning, wife stayed the rest of the afternoon while I got my soul crushed watching Bama beat the **** out of us. Friday night more live music, Striped Sea Bass for dinner. Drank some red wine, Christmas beer and bourbon. I liked the place quite a bit and my wife absolutely loved it. Was a really nice weekend.

- Jesus, must have seen 50 deer dead on the side of the road, including a couple bucks.

- That grandpa-granddaughter bond is really neat to see. It’s a party every time my little girl gets together with my dad. Laughing and carrying on.

- Big Blue about to add Quaintance and then maybe Peterson in the Spring. Cal seems to have gotten the hop back in his step recruiting.

- We’ll see on the court. I’m pretty hype for tomorrow. Wondering if Wagner is a big game guard like Maxey was. Obviously Kansas could punish inside and their perimeter D could hurt us. I don’t see much perimeter firepower there though. May be an ugly one, as these games tend to be.

- Beat SC and Louisville and it’s a good season. Lose either, especially Louisville, and I’m starting to listen a little more to you folks wanting more.

- Pretty surprising how mediocre Jimbo and Chip Kelly ended up being at two good programs.

- I’ve thought about it a lot and I think I’m moving November ahead of October on my Top Months list. Don’t @ me.

- Bonzo’s one date away like all of us were. He’ll be married by 2025 and an oldass dad like me by 2026.

I have no idea what bonz is looking for or how many dates they’ve been on but if I am into a gal and we hookup in the first couple/few dates I’m generally down for it but won’t pursue a relationship.

Maybe he was just being a gentleman and didn’t want to mess up a good thing.

I would like someone to hangout with and date but drunken meh sex isn’t really my thing anymore. Rather be home with the dog and my food, bed and some TV or book vs drunk waxing someone I barely know at 2a.

My routine and not being hungover is way more rewarding honestly.

I know someone else who was ALL-IN for October being their supersecret favorite month and then the social media hens saturated us in pumpkin spice and fall y'all! Since then, it's about how sneaky awesome November is!

That someone is my wife. Congrats, WCC. You're in great company.

I started dating my wife before internet dating was a thing, can’t wrap my mind around what a shitshow it must be to date now. Would it be easier to hook up? I dont know it sounds completely exhausting.

The sexual liberation of women as they enter their 30s and beyond is absolutely shocking, and when you throw dating apps into the mix you have contact with hundreds of them literally right at your fingertips.

It is, indeed, rather exhausting. Literally swimming in V and waxing a different chick every day of the week truly takes its toll on the body, and that’s the debacle most people find themselves in should they even put in a halfassed effort. Be glad you never had to suffer thru that.

It’s so much easier it’s ridiculous - and that was 8 years ago. That said, none of today’s fellas will know the pride and satisfaction of clutching up and picking up a stranger at a bar, coffee shop, etc.

But yeah, all you fellas should have gotten to experience online and mobile dating at least a little bit.

Maybe he is just in the closet.
I too, have been accused of this many times being single, in-shape and in my 40s, usually by guys who are drinking their home life, kids and wife away every weekend and the. admittedly wishing they were headed back to being single in Florida like myself. Most of those people have never lived out of state either not surprisingly.

It’s exhausting for sure and I actually got rid of all of it. Gals are #20-40 bigger than any of their pics when you show up, their bark is loud but bite is soft, ends up being messaging back and forth for way too long, etc.

Maybe I’m still old school or those apps disappointed way too often but I’d rather ask gym gal out, service industry gal at work out, church gal or a friends’ friend rather than hop on tinder or bumble or hinge, etc.

Plus, and obviously, app gals and you are going to go out til 12-2a get drunk and have very likely mediocre sex. I’m good.

I fail to see the problem here. In fact I’d probably give my right nut to be able to do just that for about a year. Then I think I’d be good.
-Well I’ve been doing it since I turned 18 so over 2 decades minus a few years of relationships mixed in there. I’m definitely bored with it.

Just the thought of having to talk to some chick for a few hours and pretend I gaf just to get her home is exhausting. Zero desire to listen to all that and the number of shots it would take to look like I give a ****… and if she brings up horoscopes one time I’ll cash out and leave her there without saying goodbye.

-Went to a fresh produce organic market because all my friends that are “healthy” and conscious of what’s in their food but don’t eat like me, said I should.

Well, a gallon of raw milk, 6 bananas, 3 tomatoes, a bison heart, some raw yogurt and cheese, local honey and boar sausage cost me $110 and will last about 2 days.

That’s ridiculous.

1/2 gallon of raw milk was $11. I drink 3 gallons a week.

Publix milk-at most $3/gallon, 3 gallons/week = $468/year

Raw milk-$11/half gallon, 3 gallons/week = $3,432/year 😂

Can you imagine spending $3500/year on milk? That’s what a small restaurant spends on milk a year.

What a touching joke. And my health conscious friends were still like “we’ll just do dairy and see how you feel in a few months.”

Umm no sugar tits. I’ll take my Publix cancer-death milk, eggs, meat and yogurt and be just fine.

Hell, you go to the gym and workout all of the time, stand up to your friends and don't let them bully you!

Internet dating absolutely BLEW back when I did it, and I ran away from it in 2015 or so and never tried again. Absolutely miserable experience. I met all my exes in real life and met my husband at the gym (lol), which given my level of introversion, kind of shocks me now? I don't know how I had the energy. But...pre-covid world had a different energy all around, dating in the maelstrom of awfulness the last almost-four-years (!) would be a different ballgame.

semi related, we like to watch ****** tv shots a la Catfish and watched a couple episodes of Help! I'm in a Secret Relationship this weekend. I don't know which I loved more, the one where the guy shut out his best friend of 20 years because he was in a "relationship" with a real doll named Lauren or the one where a guy didn't want to bring his fiancee around his family because she went deep in the conspiracy rabbithole and wouldn't stop talking about how the earth is hollow and there's oceans inside it and shadow governments and such. (She was hot, he was mid, she didn't care about his distaste for this and allegedly they stayed together, naturally)
