Oh and dating gals in their 20/30s, have you texted with gals in that age range lately?

One idea in a text is actually 9 separate texts, each a half or partial idea/thought/sentence.

Hey do you want to grab sushi around 7 at Sushi 6?

DING sure!
DING I’d love to
DING see you there
DING can’t wait
DING the dragon roll there is fire
DING I’ll go walk my dog now
DING he’s been ready to go out
DING I’ll shower after the walk

That’s all in 15 seconds and super annoying, guessing that’s why they all keep their phones on silent 24/7.

- Some birds aren’t meant to be caged.

- Sorry kook about your MIL. It’s rough when it really affects the kids.

- Hearing the home stats about Rattler and USCjr and I ain’t having it. We should curb stomp these ******** like they deserve.

I guess I get not rushing BAMA and UGA, but if we aren’t rushing Rattler and limiting the amount of time he has back there then a sad reality may start to sit in.

- I don’t want to think about KU yet, but last week I watched them for a little bit and had myself convinced Mitchell can fight with Dickinson but Adams may get 20 rebound outback’s on us.

If we can upset these stupid bitches I’ll be impressed because it will be all guard play leading the way.

We can do it.

- Wife is forced to get a hysterectomy at the age of 35 and it is messing with her some. Her blood work has been a mess for all of a year and all our stress has her blood pressure consistently F’d and ridiculously high.

- Got a call that my equipment is here and will be delivered tomorrow. On the call they wanted to confirm I have room for a 53’ truck to get in and out……..sure!

My stuff is over a month late and I know he can get in there, but getting out is on him not me. Bring it on!

- All this dating talk strikes up realization of never being rejected a few times before landing on the right convo with the right person that leads to anything intriguing.

It was always fun and came somewhat natural and very light hearted.

If you struggle at that, even in the social media society, it must be rough out here.

- I’m genuinely excited for the slate of movies being released for thanksgiving.

I have no idea what bonz is looking for or how many dates they’ve been on but if I am into a gal and we hookup in the first couple/few dates I’m generally down for it but won’t pursue a relationship.

Maybe he was just being a gentleman and didn’t want to mess up a good thing.

I would like someone to hangout with and date but drunken meh sex isn’t really my thing anymore. Rather be home with the dog and my food, bed and some TV or book vs drunk waxing someone I barely know at 2a.

My routine and not being hungover is way more rewarding honestly.

Man oh man woods I love to be jimbo fisher today. Just no work and. 75 million.

Was talking with my brother over the weekend about the probable irony of how 99.9% of us could take a massive cash buyout -- and wall away fm a head coaching position to do ---> whatever

But i have a feeling that a LOT of the personality types who occupy D1 Head Coaching positions --- would struggle greatly with just walking away filthy rich & having so many options at your disposal

Someone like Coach Saban?

Hell, he can't seem to enjoy actual success without fixating & criticizing and growling about what didn't go right & who slacked on "that one play"

I wonder how many head coaches who retired retire - find themselves unable to enjoy the freedom and new life they've earned?

All the more reason to miss a unique coaching figure like Mike Leach - not enough of those guys it seems, right?

Anywho - Go Steelers

The AFC North looking like the old AFC Central* circa 1978-1980

* The AFC central division was the first to produce three teams with 10 or more wins in a single season

But a big proponent of grapeshot.

His men were fanatical followers though

Dude knew how to mobilize and apply artillery/cavalry in any situation & do so in an agile and decisive manner

He also ridiculed the America's Union/Confederate development of ironclads for naval warfare - so even the best leaders have blind spots I guess

People who travel a lot for work - especially those whose company's have liberal travel policies (e.g., "alternative weekend travel" which means you can fly anywhere you want at the same price as flying home ") should be at the top of the mountain in terms of online dating success (outside of just flat out rich dudes). "Oh hey, I've air and hotel points to go to the Caribbean for the weekend. Wanna go?" It's fool proof.

Secret travel tip: O'Hare has a gym outside of security by the Hilton. For $20 you get access which includes cardio equipment, free weights, Pelotons, a locker, a pool, a sauna, a steamer and showers. Long layover or delays... that's your move. Sauna is hot AF too. Boom.

Speaking of flights, I don't really get nervous when flying but the mid-flight announcement of "FLIGHT ATTENDANTS, PLEASE TAKE YOUR JUMPSEATS" always gives me pause. There should be a nice, "hey flight attendants, we're experiencing some rough air so please take your seats" for turbulence and the other statement for "we're going down" moments.

- Shout out @Ron Mehico for the Nemacolin babymoon rec.

- Was down to it and Blackberry but it had a 3-night min. Beautiful area and wonderful resort overall. 4.5 hours away in the mountains of southern Pennsylvania. Nice. Relaxing. Great restaurants. NY Strip Friday night. Hit the spa for a massage Saturday morning, wife stayed the rest of the afternoon while I got my soul crushed watching Bama beat the **** out of us. Friday night more live music, Striped Sea Bass for dinner. Drank some red wine, Christmas beer and bourbon. I liked the place quite a bit and my wife absolutely loved it. Was a really nice weekend.
Who THE F*CK is this and what did you do with my friend WildCatChad?

-I’m perfectly fine being solo, mom is the same way. We can go to movies, bars, restraints etc alone and enjoy ourselves. I know so many people that are like, “You go to movies by yourself? That’s weird.”

No it’s more likely you’re uncomfortable being alone actually. Plus, it’s a movie, you’re not talking during it anyway.

And @bradyjames I’m not changing to be more likeable or whatever. If a gal doesn’t like lots of gym time, meal prep, sushi, tattoos, etc well I’m not for her am I? And that’s good with me.

I’m not changing so someone likes me more, that’s not authentic or genuine. I’m not one of those people trying to show I live the greatest life ever in social or that things are perfect.

@cut_itloosedoubledeuce regarding the “gay” lol, get it all the time bubbers and mostly from jealous Brodies wishing they lived how I do to be honest, I’m sure you’re teasing though. My number would be pretty 🤢 if I knew it.

-Napoleon is going to be amazing. Can’t wait for that. Perfect actor for it as well.

-Rain the next 3 days, can’t wait. Indica and movie night and smashing food 🤤.

-Got my UK hat and cutoff on at the gym Chad, letting these Florida Mfers know what’s what.

-You add a dog because they’re the best little homie for which you could ask. Companionship, a reason to go out and walk to the beach, girl getter, a reason to bounce out of any social situation you’re bored of or just want to leave, etc.

Sure it makes travel a little tougher but I have plenty of people here or KY to watch him any time I want, last resort is the pet resort but it’s no biggie.

-gotta stay busy before these late tips. tennis from 6-9, hot shower, leftovers... basketball. Hopefully it's entertaining/competitive enough to keep me up late.

-not a big in-person basketball... but i'll go to a few games a year. St Joe's next week will be the first.

^it ain't like it used to be, and UK isn't an elite program right now but I still enjoy the heck out of it.

Tampa/SP area is weird because despite its population there are no major universities, sports-wise, for me to cruise over and check a big basketball or football game out. There’s USF and that’s about it. Otherwise it’s Jacksonville, Miami or Gainesville, Orlando if you count UCF and those are hours away.

Weird since 1.8 million people live in Hillsborough County and 1 million in Pinellas County.

*Flying out to Clearwater Beach for a Daddy/Daughter 4-day getaway, Sunday. Sandpearl, ftw.

*It's going to be tough to stay up for the game. I get up around 5 AM so that's a long *** day. I'm taking the kids to Pizza Lupo for a later dinner, which may help.

*There's a LaRosa's about 10 minutes from me that I have yet to try. Nobody I trust has given it a decent review, so why waste my money.

-Text me what time to pick you up at PIE.

Just got an email from allegiant that reminded me of my Thanksgiving trip in 9 days. Says packing light is overrated only $70 for a checked bag!!!!! 😂 okay so another 1/3 of my ticket price to check a bag lol okay.

I haven’t checked a bag except to go skiing/riding in over a decade.

-Debating on a “me/self-care/mental health” day or whatever we’re calling it now over here. Haircut, grocery and then just smoke and chill at the house hoping for the rain, play a little Risk on the iPad, couple dog walks. Hit the pavement tomorrow to bug some more bars.

Pool with the gal pal is def out today, bummer.

-Same with the game here, there’s zero chance I will stay awake for it, hell I might not see tip, 😞. May have to go to my local watering hole to stay awake.

There’s at least a part of Calipari that doesn’t mind losing tonight. I mean that same part is gonna be kinda pissed if they go out and beat the #1 team playing small ball.

Anyway unrelated but FanDuel has a 100% profit boost on the game tonight…

I put a small bet on us and the over just to keep it fun.
