And yes, Rob & Shep clearly have a special chemistry brewing together already & they know it. Pretty cool to watch them go back & forth…always looking to set each other (and others) up.

Dilly is a silly word, and also fits he, his fun(ny) game, and personality perfectly. If that bothers you, puppies, bc it’s certainly not going away, nor should it…it’s not a GYERO thing. It’s him, enjoy it.

^ also, Shep & EDWARDS are the 3rd best duo. I mean, kinda says it all about the KY boy.

UL avoiding Clemson, FSU and UNC in the same season is almost criminal. Would be the equivalent of UK replacing Bama, UGA and UT with Ark, aTm, and Auburn.

Their fairweather fans don’t deserve this team. Haven’t sold out one home game. UK game still not sold out.

I don’t recall UK ever getting a lucky roll like they have had multiple times, 7-1 in conference play.

The ACC is Garbage. Even if FSU is 13-0. A 12-1 Alabama or even Georgia should get in over them, assuming the others are the XII, B1G, and PAC12 champs. Probably should be in over Texas as well, as the chair repeatedly downplays the H2H.

Double-edged sword with Reed. If he ends up 1st Round/Lotto we had a helluva season and we don’t get him back.

He doesn’t make that jump we get him for another year or two but either we didn’t have a good year or DJ or Dillingham stepped up and became consistent.
As good as Sheppard is, being 6’3” will likely ensure he stays at least two years.

So my point the other night was maybe the combos could change.

I 100% agree that Dillingham is great off the bench because while he is a spark plug he also isn’t affected one way or the other whether coach is on him, or if he is benched for any reason. When he comes back on the court he is still going to pull, or penetrate aggressively but also seemingly pass well, and he is absolutely going to go all in on stealing the ball.

So if Shep starts it’s between DJ and Edwards as to who comes off the bench, and IMO it has to be Edwards. Which playing with Dilly I think would help him, as would Shep/DJ helping DJ.

It wasn’t mentioned here last night but the lineup of DJ, Shep, Dilly, Edwards and Mitchell got a few more minutes than I expected and I’m intrigued by that group, the potential there is flat out scary.

Georgia has looked mortal early in basically every game but ours lolz.

They just methodically beat teams down over the course of the game. When’s the last time they even had a late reg season scare? 😕

Yeah now no pressure at all on the UL game. They are one win over us away from being 11-1 in the ACC championship game against an FSU team that just lost their best player and QB. What a **** scenario.
