We apparently have a whole new crop of walkons. I need to familiarize myself with, as I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot of them this season.

The 5-7 dude with the wildass hair looked like a baller, I’m intrigued.

Number 20 is named Joey and led his 2A school to the Indiana finals last year. I’m sure he has seen his fair share of Grade A+ clean white woman ******.

quit being so hateful to Wayne, Hank. Wayne is a family man and a citizen.

a buddy of mine from Lexington who is in the know (big horse money / Japanese) said that cal is doing blow again. He quit after the maxey year but now he’s movin again. Who knows

Tipped the greaser who tied my Christmas tree to the top of my vehicle this morning with fat and fresh Pendleton county nuggets. Harvest time. My wife was none too pleased she was like are you just walking around with bags of that stuff all the time. I was like no, I knew what the Christmas tree guy would like, and I planned ahead. Saved us ten dollars, do you not understand the value of a dollar ho.

The burgundy on the white oaks is off charts right now. So many are not patient for the slow rewards of the white oak, preferring the red and it’s relatively quick growth, but the way the red’s leaves simply turn directly brown belies its obvious position in the oak hierarchy.

The most bizarre thing about this football season has been staying in the huddle until like 7 seconds left. Liam Coen would never intentionally do that - I know this much. Is it Leary just being that low IQ? The receivers being so high they don’t understand the play call and Leary has to individually tell them where to go? So why??? Who knows - but it’s touching maddening.

I’m not getting psyched for tomorrow - I’m afraid our team might just be dead inside, in which case I’m not investing much - but I do have a little part of me that says Mark hates these gafs enough that he gets the boys fired up and we play up to our potential, have a lot of fun. We’ll see.

But I ain't asking nobody for nothin'
If I cant get it on my own
If you don't like the way I'm livin'
You just leave this long-haired country boy alone

Oh stop it. Cal is always gonna Cal. But that’s not happening *this* year.

A random funny/good sign?

Wagner had 28 & played his vintage relentless attack game - numerous tough finishes at the rim. 10-14, 5:1 ato, 3 steals. Coming off another good game, while maintaining a leader attitude & saying all the right team things while his less heralded mates get all the shine during his own struggles. And it’s genuine. He’s gonna be & is fine.

Reeves 23, 5-7 deep. Averaging 19 on 47% from 3 through 6 games.

…and neither is a positive talking point, or in Reeves case, mentioned at all amidst the newcomer hype & love. And he’s gonna average 18-20 for the season, btw. Kinda weird Imo. Decent weapon

Shout out JE making some shots. He’ll eventually be confident enough to finish his rim attacks.

So many positives right now…

I believe our side knows our defense is terrible so killing clock offensively limits the time on the field for the defense.

Non stop soft zone confirms there is no confidence to cover, rush the QB or, competently do anything but hope the offensive players stay in front and take what we are giving.

Tomorrow there is no reason to do anything except double Thrash and rush everyone else not in coverage. I know our DLine isn’t killing it, but they will probably be the best Louisville has seen all year so I’m not concerned about their RB or Plummer as long as Thrash is blanketed.

On offense you can bet Brohm is going to bring the heat on Leary to cover up their other weaknesses so Davis, Brown and Robinson could or better yet should have big days on YAC with quick hitters just past their blitz or in the flats.

But that’s what has me most nervous because they can absolutely out coach us.

It's going to be ugly tomorrow. We all sense it.

I think the Cats lose by 17+

The tide has turned in this rivalry, for the foreseeable future.

The bottom line is that it's exponentially easier to build a program at Louisville than it EVER will be at Kentucky. I'd prefer we not play them anymore, if we go to a 9 game SEC slate.

Tie at the half at +450 is what I’m cheering for tomorrow.

I worry about this team (basketball) getting itself into a groove and the all of a sudden adding some new players into the mix but Burks being a totally enigma out there at least answers where the minutes for the bigs is gonna come from.

It's definitely going to **** things up when one or more of the balsa wood triplets start seeing the floor. They're not going to have a GD clue what is going on. They'll be getting in the way, fvcking up the flow, fumbling entry passes, charging etc.

I'd rather just send them packing to be honest, and just rely on winning track meets...

Yea at this point I don’t see how you don’t start Mitchell even if Bradshaw plays. I’ve grown to really appreciate his game after two years of Oscar.

That pick and pop is just 1998 81-81 Scott Padgett clutch every time it seems.

Regarding our 3pt defense:

We have zero rim, or really interior, protection (so far)

That translates into more guard/wing help. The alternative is getting abused in the paint for gimmies and/or easy putbacks…which is still happening way too often. We’re very limited defensively with the current roster, it is what it is.

Not sure it matters much when you’re scoring 95ppg

Kansas? Despite his ridiculous numbers, I thought we did ok on Dickinson overall given what we have. Check his other boxes. If we left him alone he’d have had 50 & 30. He got his, and more, but he didn’t dominate the game.

Oscar did that **** 80% of the time for 2 years. How’d that translate into wins?

Unfortunately, Dejuan Harris, a really good vet leader, went for 23 on 5-5 from 3, and most of them were huge. I compared him to a homeless rondo pregame in his style.

He has 18 points total, and one made 3, in his other 5 games COMBINED. I mean…despite all the other gripes about that game, that was the difference. I’d play the same strategy Again, as does everyone else.

Sometimes it just goes like that. Once we have at least a THREAT of rim protection, I expect the perimeter defense will improve a good bit.

…just maybe not in Rupp. The friendliest scrub shooting gym in the world for my lifetime. ☺🤪

-Not sure why a video of the Warriors’ ball movement is relava….holy **** that UK?

Bummer I missed all but the last six minutes due to driving home from WV. But of course we had it on the radio (which I love but can’t do that ball movement justice), kicked Mom’s UL husband to the backseat so we could listen up front together.

-Biggest WTF foods of Tgiving are easy.

1. Sweet Potatoes- love them but when Thanksgiving comes let’s put flipping marshmallows on top like it’s 1918 and we’re a bunch of poors trying to hard scrabble a dessert with whatever is in the pantry.

2. Cranberry- No one eats cranberry ever except Tgiving, you know why? It’s sucks. If it was good we’d have it all the time.

Mom said it’s because the Indians harvested a bunch of cranberries for the meal back then. Well, they also didn’t have Starbucks coffee and wiped with leaves we celebrating those ways too?

Again, if cranberry was good why don’t we have it other days?

-Hitting J Alexanders with mi Madre to watch the game. I’m going to hit Proof for a lift beforehand, she can’t be in the house with her husband for those games. Just want a bar that won’t be nuts.

He doesn’t even care that much or cheer or anything, Mom just ain’t having a UL fan around her during the rivalry.

-Best Thanksgiving family get together in years, super happy I came up for this one.

Calipari acts like threes are a last resort, hail mary.

Mathematically, it's the best shot you can take, and if it's coming off of ball movement to the shooter, the percentage of making it is something like 30 percent higher. I'm not really sure why, unless there is an absolute gimme under the basket, the vast majority of a team's shots wouldn't be 3 pointers...

Drove home yday, planned on doing it over 2 days, thus missing the UK game today. At about 4pm, wife says, “let’s just go all the way thru.” Works for me.

31-23 cats today.

Saw 2 wrecks happen yday on i75. Was 1 car behind one… I get people driving 85 on the interstate. I don’t get people driving 85 and weaving in and out of lanes.

Listened to the radio broadcast last night. Leach and Goose are OK, not great, but not terrible. That and the postgame show took up about 4 hours of the drive.

Saw my mamaw for probably the last time the past few days. Amazing to see someone still sharp as can be but knowing that cancer is wrecking her insides.

Bought a Santa suit last year. Instead of going to “see Santa” and pay $30 for a picture, we have a friend dress up and have all our daughter’s friends come over to the house. Best decision ever.

May be stupid but I only want one of the 7 footers back. Whoever is the best rim defender, I’ll take. The others can stay on the bench.

Finally dropped Facebook for good… no regrets.

If it was anyone BUT a GYERO man, I would find this at best peculiar and more likely creepy. LOL

I'm going to try my hardest to not go apeshit during the Louisville game, but that's probably not going to work out well for me or the dogs.

I remember when Rick Pitino started at Kentucky, there was some news story where he wrote 3>2 on a chalkboard. He wasn’t wrong!

If we are gonna come up doing “L’s down” on every single play then we better come to play.
There's a billion percent chance we will come out jawing and then play like losers, led by our illustriously annoying wide receivers.

* Remember when SAE was a podcaster and a message board poster? That was pretty cool.

* Antoine Walker on why he took so many threes: "Because there's no four point line."

* Watching today's game feels like a chore. We are going to get our asses kicked. I'm glad I don't live in Louisville, topography be damned.

* We need to beat Miami on Tuesday. We won't really be back until winning at Rupp is a guaranteed lock again.

* Ryan Day's just for men beard bothers me. Makes him look like a boy toucher.
