You know what is odd though. This seems to happen to UK with Swiss fvcking watch regularity now.

I wonder what the common GD denominator is?

Oh we definitely played with a tightness I recognize and I know where your focus is, rightfully so.

No argument from me especially in close games(for Cal that goes back farther than just his time at UK).

At this point I know our coaches strengths and weaknesses, but our team hasn’t had a chance to show us many weaknesses yet. Today they did and our coach has no idea how to adjust.

For example 6 seconds on a shot clock most coaches zone up and make an offense pass it for open shots on a short clock. We man up, get beat to the basket and despite them missing the shot the shooter got his own rebound to kill off another 20 seconds or so.

Bad defense is on Shep, but no adjustment is on the coach.

Calipari won a title with a generational talent juggernaut who put together the best season a college basketball player has ever done. Other than that, he's really just sent a lot of talent to the NBA, talked a lot of stupid ****, and cashed a lot of checks.

He's paid to win college basketball games. He should do that.

Losing to Wilmington and Evansville is Billy Clyde ****.

Calipari did manage to do SOMETHING positive today. He's made the Holiday season much less awkward for Stoops.

Piglet should go purchase a Balvenie 30 year old for Cal as a thank-you.

(that stupid **** would probably mix it with 7-up)

So much easier to win in college football with superior talent than college basketball. Kind of annoying.
This is true.

It's also true, that carrying 200 plus pounds (not sure how much Cal weighs) of dead-weight up and down the court slows you down, and makes the task even MORE difficult. And yet, that is where we find ourselves; a team of thoroughbreds, forced to drag a 250 pound dead carcass up and down the court. In addition to playing basketball of course...

Oops. I stand by my statement though. LOL

IOW, the SEC champion should get an automatic, IMO.

My only excuse is that I'm fit to be tied with my Cal hate.

(you know, a TRUE friend would delete their post, that shamelessly points out my egregious error) LOL

I've been hacked.

I mean, as it stands now it would seem:

1- Michigan
2- Washington
3- Florida State(yuck)
4- Alabama

And I’d cheer for UL to beat FSU, but F that and F whatever butchering is done to the Playoff 4.

Of course, Cal wouldn't dare say a bad word about his super recruit, lottery pick lock Justin Edwards... who also let his man consistently get around him and into the lane, and unlike Reed, can't shoot, pass, dribble, or rebound. You know, those little things that come up every now in basketball games. Probably will want to give Edwards more minutes to keep his confidence up.

Back to that feeling where I don’t want to even pay attention to sports. At least we got that nice little ~1 week interlude to feel good about things. A Saturday afternoon to a Saturday afternoon. And then it’s back to hard living and drudgery. Just keeping your head above water.

I have been asking myself, am I overreacting? There’s been so many positives lately. Was this just a blip for a young team still coming together and missing a key piece? The rational answer, of course, is yes. The real answer is no. It’s never going to change, as long as he is here. That’s just a fact.

I listened to the clip. He did actually mention Edwards and said he could go all the way down the line of people not stopping their man.

He wasn't so much calling out Sheppard individually as just being a condescending ******* to the fans. Or, in other words, typical.

Every team trips occasionally on a blade of grass, or a painted line in the parking lot.

UK, under Calipari, gets out of the car, grabs a cart, trips over a painted line, directly in front of a city bus, and takes every innocent bystander within a 10 meter radius of them, to a tragic and painful death.

....multiple times a GD year.

I didn't listen to Cal's BS statement on Reed, but F him.

That said, on the pregame radio show Goose flat out said he was scared of UNCW. He said they are really good, they overlooked their last game, and had a lot of talent. He was right.

Too much going 200mph on breaks, freshman had too many freshman mistakes, didn’t shoot or move the ball like normal, gambling on defense left open drives and kick outs and they hit every big shot towards the end.

Basically what I expected when we played Miami! Didn’t expect it against this team. This was a game Wagner was a bigger need than Bradshaw.

I placed a small wager on Iowa O3.5TT just for funsies. I also put a small wager on Michigan ST O.5pt 2nd H last week. Smallest numbers I’ve ever seen.
