- I honestly don’t understand the “well, I’m happy UofL got some bit of joy” mindset. Maybe you all who can feel that way are better people than me. Probably so.

* I absolutely get not wanting to follow Saban at Alabama. Especially if you’ve already got a job that gives you a shot at the 12 team playoff. Which are the only people Alabama should be looking at.

¥ Coach Prime at FSU sounds awesome but holy **** I imagine the fans would not be happy. Get left out of the playoff while undefeated, your coach goes to the school that bumped you out, and the replacement didn’t even make a bowl. Might/probably turn out ok but still, that would sting a little.

-Really don’t get you all constantly throwing Stoops name at these huge programs, just stop. They don’t want him imo. aTm did for two hours, that’s it.

-No offense anth or anyone, I just don’t get tiktok and have zero understanding how people enjoy seeing these videos on constant scroll. I’m good on that. I waste enough time.

-Meet the gal pal at Brevede on Manchester, good little coffee spot, my only request was not Starbucks, that place is for girls and dudes with no sack, don’t lift, go to Barre classes, wear suits every day and think people are interested in their golf scores.

- Walked from there down the bike path to all the construction around Rupp with the new park, that place is going to be so nice I bet.

-She left so I tried Desperados for tacos but they don’t open til 4 🙄, so at goodfellas “new” location. It’s really nice and great bourbon collection. Polished off a 12” every topping pizza.

They charged me for a water though… whotf does that? You don’t charge for flushing the toilet or washing your hands so whytf is drinking water $2+? I could’ve brought the water from my car.

Reading time for a bit before bunking down at the house.

Next 3 days: tomorrow rainy, Saturday windy and cold, Sunday ice cold temps roll in. Fireplace will be rolling, that I know.

The Manchester area is super cool now though, enjoyable place to walk around a little.

PSA....had a basal cell removed from my noggin yesterday which was about the size of the letter O on your keyboard. It doesn't have to be big to be dangerous, so get checked regularly if you like Mr. Sun. Thankful to have a great dermatologist.

So the Louisville Publix had a line down the block for their opening....for groceries. Awesome. Bodes well for the two in Lex when they open.

Wishful thinking if you don't think Bama will still be Bama, post-Saban, not in today's NIL world where the elite eat first.

Best power dunker reels....Nique, Kemp, Dawkins, Griffin

Next week is why January is next to last in the monthly weather rankings, only above Feb. Brutal.

Wemby, Holmgren, Porzingis...my how the game has changed. I remember when a 6'9 PG named Magic brought a new look to the game.

Rogue...hope you're on the mend.

- Rogue are all gym bros cheap? The only gym bro I know left a waitress at Tony's an $18 tip on a $250 meal.

- And go dump your Stanley Cup in the toilet next time.

- Dillingham looks like Jay Williams on the floor. There, I said it. Don't hate, you know I am right.

- SEC road gonna be brutal if we don't figure out how to play some D.

- Happiness for Louisville? WTF????? PERMABAN!!!!

- Belichek to Bama?

- She got a lot of attention for that suit, and has a nice body. But you see that on UK campus in any direction.

-At the gym now, woke up at 3:34 but said not today world so got here at 7ish.

-Meeting an ex (from college so just a really really good pal now) for coffee a brisk walk at the arboretum if it’s not too cold at the time.

-Probably read most of the rest of the day to be honest. Maybe come back to the gym for an incline walk but should prob just walk the dog around Mallard Point’s hills. Same same.

-Huge game this weekend and aTm trending down so let’s get a win, hop up a few spots and work on that seeding line please 🙏.

-Some middle-aged 💨 at the ol PF gym today and yesterday. May have to start coming this time instead of 4:30 in the morning 😃.

I’d rather go to my free gym PROOF but that means driving to Lexington to lift, bringing a change of clothes and showering there. Just a lot.

-At least we have a BEAUTIFUL day today with the oncoming onslaught of winter death. Will be interesting to see what ol Buster thinks about single/negative temps. Hoping he doesn’t want to walk far.
Hate to break it to you Mark, but you are past middle aged.

Dancing Man Darren Moscow definitely has a disorder. I believe his mom left a trust to cover the cost of assisted living for him or something like that.

Going to be an interesting off season for college football leading up to spring practice.

Hope everyone gets stocked up on milk and bread for the weather event that is coming.

Draft kings offered UK +1600 to win ot all the other day, took that.

Spent some time fishing last week. Nothing like nature to reset.

@Catman100 I’ve been in the industry for almost two decades, you think I tip cheap?

-with recent events, yes I’m probably well passed middle-aged. That has literally nothing to do with the age of woman I go after though my friend.

-Southern Charm tonight 👀

No, he doesn’t play like Jason Williams besides the fact they’re both guards.

- mistook some 50mg gummies for 10’s. Not what I was looking for tonight, necessarily, but hey.

- it took around ten minutes to type the preceding sentence

- dealt with a gay sex scandal all day for a high profile client. It was …. gay.

- the biggest proponent of terminating said gay man was a guy with he/his/him in his signature block. Not sure. Scorned lover? In any event, the gays run everything now.

- I’ve been running an old Stihl trimmer for years that my old man passed down. I was planning on a winter treat to myself of a Saturday morning trip to the mower shop and an acquisition of a new FS-91. It appears to be a superior machine. Anyone have? Tired of the exhaust manifold of my current rig giving me second degree burns.

- check out Billy Strings stuff he did with Molly Tuttle. Excellent music. Great bluegrass sex chemistry.

- I’ve changed my tune on January. I think it might be a top month. Literally nothing happens. At least stuff that is planned. The optimum month for sitting back and doing nothing. And it’s dark out, so you don’t feel guilty about not being out in the yard working/enjoying.

- Hope everyone is having a good new year. Congratulations on your achievements, well done.

Conservative estimates are that a minimum of 500 hours flying per year, gets you to around the break even point on owning rather than leasing a private jet.

In the case of my friend that bought the Citation, he leases his jet when he's not using it, but also entered into a cooperative with others that operate on that model, and so, if a late minute trip comes up, usually, one of the other cooperative planes is available to use, if his is not available.

Hank does think about my sex life a lot. Wierd.

Why I say Dillingham is the billionaire's Ramel (using Ramel's senior season stats):

Ramel / Dillingham
Height: 6’3 / 6'3
Weight: 176 / 170
Points: 15.9 / 14.4
Rebounds: 4.2 / 3.2
Assists: 3.4 / 4.1
Minutes: 35.1 / 22.4
FT: 83% / 77%
FG: 45% / 50%
3PT: 37% / 44%

Common arrangement among PJ owners.

-Heading to Appalachia today to visit Pops, Gma and the WV gang, hopefully the weather doesn’t prevent me from coming back tomorrow but I’m sure my All-Terrain, 4WD, Lifted, Mammoth of a 2010 Kia Soul will have zero difficulties.

-Slid off the road on 25 in Georgetown in said vehicle 2 years ago at Christmas and got stuck in an embankment. Within 3 minutes a dude has stopped with a big *** Chevy 2500 and chain, has pulled me out and back on the road.

Slip him a $20 and he politely declines and says “I didn’t pull you out for money man, no one should be stuck on the side of the road on Christmas.”

#Kentucky

- @WynnDuffy has a point about January, sure it’s abysmal outside but it hasn’t made me feel bad at all at spending 3+ hours a day reading🤓.

-Speaking of reading, ordered Don Winslow’s Power of the Dog series after being reminded how much I loved Savages.

Shewboy, those are some 700 page hitters. My ABPW (average books per week, if baseball can make up stats so can I) is about to take a hit.

-Posted this on my IG but bears repeating, these touching FOOTBALL COACHES are retiring/washed in their early 70s but our next PRESIDENT will be in his 80s and we have congresspeople (is that the “correct” term now) in their 80s and 90s sometimes.

#WhatInTheActualF**k

-USVI gal pal informed me yesterday they don’t observe Daylight Savings Time, why are we so behind in this ridiculous policy?

-I’m getting the feeling we roll this weekend @aTm.

I also get the feeling when Edwards gets right, which I’m hoping is mid February right before March obviously, he’s not going to be nice about it to opposing teams.

Dude is dope, he’s just in his own head. I don’t think he just out-athleted everyone in HS, I think coming to UK and being surrounded by super high caliber athletes like yourself can be a mind-touch for some kids.

So happy Wagner played through the same ordeal basically and is balling now.

-Meeting up for my lawyer, now friend’s, bday celebration Saturday. At least I got a friend out of the whole ordeal… 🤷‍♂️

Edwards ain’t gonna find whatever it is you all think he is going to find this year. At this point in the season he is what he is. At any other school he would be a typical freshman and he would be back next year to continue to progress, but that isn’t how it works here. He has been/is already being recruited over. Good thing is this team obviously doesn’t need him to put up 15/8 every night to win.

Props to him for sticking it out, though, and not taking the Dragon/Terrence Clark/Vando route and just calling it a day.

Don’t know what your yard is like but can’t imagine it’s particularly wooly considering you live in The Bubble. I’ve got a Stihl battery powered trimmer and I love it. Perfect for just trimming and detail work. Probably not enough if you need it for other stuff.

If Dillingham played 35 minutes per game (that Ramel did), instead of the 22.4 he currently does. Based on per minute production:

Points: Bradley - 15.9 Dillingham - 25.4 (plus 9.5)
Rebounds - Bradley 4.2 Dillingham - 5.12 (plus 1)
Assists: Bradley - 3.4 Dillingham - 5.4 (plus 2)

Hence he's a Billionaire's version, Hyman. But thanks for proving my point.
