Theres never going to be a second generation of GYERO. It's going to just get older and older like it has for the past decade.

When it first started the youngest posters were 17 and 18, now 10 years later the youngest posters are 27-28. College kids have no use for message boards anymore for sports information.

As far as being annoyed in public, crying kids are pretty far down on the list. Some nasty redneck sneezed without covering his nose at the table next to us last week, uppity ***** that don't say thanks when you hold a door open, people blocking aisles in stores so they can text, people carrying on loud conversations in a line with someone 2 feet from them or on the phone, people driving through parking lots going 30 mph and probably a million more examples are all so much more annoying.

I too hate fitted hats. I have a huge head so about the only hats that fit me well are the dri fit material. Worked pretty good at the beach last week with 102 degree heat index.

PS. do not take a 6 week old to the beach.....

My son is a couple months from turning two and he has Down syndrome. I don't know if that's the reason he's like this or not, but he's been a ridiculously easy baby other than the health issues related to DS. Kid sleeps through the night virtually always. When he's out, he's out. He only cries when something is really wrong as well. Almost feels like parenting on easy mode when it's not some horrific horseshit like his 2nd case of pneumonia of the winter.

I will say because he's got smaller nostrils (That's why they have their mouths open all the time) when he slept next to our bed he'd do fun things in the middle of the night like breathe, snort, take a break from breathing for about 2 seconds, snort a couple more times, just to make you think he's definitely dying, then go back to regular sleeping. I used to lie there just listening to the snorts trying to figure out when to start rescue breathing, but he was always just f***ing with me. Little rascal.

Yep 2 weeks ago, 3 dudes roll up to a partially covered patio full of people eating dinner and start puffing cigars like it's Derby Day. Literally 3' from an obviously pregnant chick. This wasn't a bar, it's a fairly nice restaurant in Lex. No courtesy at all. Several tables around the outskirts of the patio wide open.

The people in and around the baby ward at the hospital was just depressing. One of the families told Sloot's mom in the parking lot that they were going to steal her tires. Pregnant chicks smoking looking like they just crawled of of a meth lab. Adults are ********, kids are harmless.

Sloot was and is still all in on G just stopping breathing. She cleans his nose constantly. He does make some crazy noises but she was just lying there thinking about each one of them. Can you hear him, he's congested. OMG. Get the saline. I'm like he's a kid, did you see the meth heads, their kids will make it. I'm sure he's not going to die of a stuffy nose. Thankfully Dr Mack confirmed that the child was not going to die.

After 8 years at this company, I'm leaving a cush W-2 job to become an independent rep. I must have heard from 10 other reps this week asking what took me so long and telling me how much I'll love it. It's amazing the lengths company men will go to sway you from bettering yourself to protect said company to the point you actually start to believe all the ******** you've heard. Yeah, I'm sure not having set hours, not having to deal with the LCD of the security industry, not having to deal with the LCD of coworkers, etc...will be giant mistake.

The guy that hired me is more excited than I am. Plucked a distributor/customer employee, much less ramp up time for training and I'm taking over his territory so all he has to do is take me around for introductions.

Haven't found a non-fitted hat that sits right on my head. Finding a fitted hat with a dome/crown that hugs the head a bit is also tough. Usually have to do w little surgery on my hats.

*at some point, we came to grips that our kids couldn't literally cry themselves to death. Starting about 7 or 8 weeks we just let them cry until they figured out how to soothe themselves to sleep.

If they're dry, fed/full, and room is good temperature, you gotta eventually shut yourself in basement and let em figure it out.

*have worn out Isbell's new album. 10/10. Favorite album in 10 years, top 3 of all time for me. His last album is also in my top 3.

It's corporate world so has it's pros and cons much like anywhere else. It wasn't until a couple years ago our president started saying the company won't hold people back where before, they would trash you, punish whoever they could with lost sales and generally act like children that had their play time taken away.

Moving from the home office back to Jax softened the blow and to their credit, 95% of those that matter are cool with it and even see how it will be beneficial since they're going to be one of my largest customers. But I've had more ******** dumped on my lap from poorly trained salespeople and having to handle all the access control for 8 branches my entire time here. There are still some that are downright pissed because it means they'll have to work and quite frankly, that warms my heart.

We drove and couldn't believe it but she slept in 4-5 hour intervals the entire way down and back. Taking her on flight next month so I am almost 100% sure it wont go as smooth because that is how things work.

I know you're still butthurt over yesterday's GYEROlympics comment but I don't post play-by-play commentary of my baby on here and rarely on Facebook, even. My wife posts a lot of stuff on there but that's her prerogative. I have a fantastic little girl and she's proud to throw up photos every week or so. My mom definitely appreciates the photos a state away.

I'm glad to hear there's still people in the world that discipline their kids if they are acting like little brats in public. My parents put straight fear into us when we went out for dinner. They made it very clear that eating out was a treat and if you can't handle it then you would be taken home immediately.

Seems like that's a novelty nowadays and everything revolves on making the kid happy so he/she won't act like that in public.

Eli Crew: Just learned that KC has suffered a heart attack...don't have many details, as Meemommie had to cut me off when the Dr. came in. Apparently he actually had it WHILE he was in the hospital, or at least it was still ongoing -- so I would think that's good -- but he is 93, so...

Dude is pretty much the most active 93 year old of all time, still drives daily, sits on multiple boards around town, & basically is out of the house doing things from 9-5 like a normal working person. Guess when you're that old though, things can change in an instant.
