Didn't know of GYERO from way back but I remember the drama of JDRUM always saying the plug would be pulled because of so many people crying, probably because they never could figure out what it meant and no one would tell them. And of course, someone would point out half of the traffic from the forum was for GYERO and it never happened.

Even remember the D-League thread we had on Maggard's site and every now and then, one of the guys would try it out here and get thumped only to return with their tail between their legs.

I'm at best a 4th string poster.

I've had an internet stalker posting hot dogs in response to 50% of my posts for 6 years.

Thanks GYERO!

(Truth time. I only had 2 chili dogs. I had to drive back to Bham after the game and there was no way I was going to be stopping to take a dump in Anniston at 4 AM so I took it easy. Still a legend I guess.)

Jarrod's monkey... all timer.

Who was the dude that got smashed and had a picture circling the forums with him on a tri-cycle?

And he missed national hot dog day....again. He had a chance because you actually posted yesterday.

It was a Pizza Hut get together and ukfanincincy big timed it and picked up the tab. Pretty certain BOTH smokeypole and catinthefort attended. Maybe oledon, too. So, yeah.

The one in Newport? I was there. I brought my nephew, who was a walk on LB at UK at the time.

* The week before I got married, we were at the UK vs Miami (OH) game at Paul Brown Stadium. Around halftime, she got up to go to the restroom and the stranger who had been sitting next to me the entire game without saying a word to me says, "Hey Wildcat Willy, is that Marge?"

I forget what his name was, but he used to post on here occasionally.

Plus there was the time when Geese recognized Sloot and me at Keeneland and tried to get our autographs. Embarrassing. I regret and apologize to all of you for being nice to him.

-Ha, memory lane days are excellent. Summer 05 was my entrance. Probably the height of the brutality between then and 2007. Even when I first started it was more talking about getting drunk and banging sloots. Seemed to get angrier as the years went on.

-We haven't had a GYERO/Paddock tourney in 7-8 years. No awards or BCS rankings on posters either. Those always got people faarred up.

-The day we do not speak of where half the thread got perma banned/ Shane Murphy is a ***.

-The SueD thing is still amazing. I mean how random is that?

-10 years is a long time. Still rolling along.

-Also BBdk is always rapping, that isn't a myth. TS.

Justa was a staple back in the day.

Herrm, Justa, UCL, CMD, LC, Kel, BBBd, Ktattum, WCC, BBdk, Bellydancer, Bernie, Ap.com, 80, PlayBall, Will, Beavis was the bulk of the crew back in those days IIRC.

Shane is a great dude. We ended meeting him, I think at a UL game with the other mod. What was the other mod that was all over us? Damnit. Shane who's your buddy? After that he calmed down on us a bit.

Those days when the thread was rolling and intense... then you'd post and you'd be banned. Awful feeling. Borderline insanity inducing. Instantly email CMD to find out what was going on on the mod board. Compose apology email to Jeff. Beg for forgiveness.

"Oh JDrum is really pissed this time. The bible thumpers in Nashville are getting complaints... shane is super pissed... they're saying it's permanent." [laughing]

We should hire those guys to come back and patrol the place, way more fun when we had to censor ourselves.

I'm pretty sure the strangest thing GYERO every produced was me and Will living together for a year.

-Pretty sure I saw ap.com today at lunch, but had never met him before(and he was with his lass) so I did not engage.

-80 recognized me at Qdoba by my burrito order. Have run into him and B$ a couple of times since. Lunch w/Beavis and HUBER. Lunch with George's parents. Lunch w/Jpuck, BBdK, and a fourth who I can't recall at Bazo's waaaay back in the day. Walked up and ID'd myself with a rolleyes bumper sticker that Sloot had given me at a football game, where I had mistaken MCF for Anth. Oops.

One tailgate, where PTI asked why I wasn't off giving Jim Rome a handy somewhere, and some of the GYERO ladies played with my daughter(then almost 2, I think). A few other "GYERO meets real life" episodes as well.

Will lived with me for a few months once after he'd been kicked out of somewhere because of something his dumbass roommate had done.

[laughing] I think that was because the roommate that replaced me destroyed the banister in the townhouse we lived in that was about 3 years old.

ap.com is friends with one of the editors up in Columbus I work with on our commercials. He has been using the same place for some political spots recently.

One of the guys up there who wines and dines us when we are in town wants to take both of us to a UK football game this year.

Gyero is the real world. Everything else is just the matrix.

-Wodie did my first mortgage and nearly caused my wife to kill me for having "internet friends" involved in real life stuff.
-I insured CClark when his house got hit by a tornado.

Give my left testicle to get whiskey bent one night with Rich Brooks.

Well I invited you(and numerous others on here) this year to do it with me & a number of years in the past as well, but you have never taken me up on it.

And for what it's worth it is fantastic hanging out with Coach Brooks. Unbelievable guy, GREAT stories, & can put away some bourbon. Last night was world class.

Pretty big upset no one has mentioned Wilbanks asking the board what to do when his grandmother stopped breathing or whatever it was. Think that was the first "furreal because it's true" moment on the board that I can recall.

Another individual that is scarred for life....or dead due to obvious reasons.

Wilbanks is still alive and produced a child. I found him on Facebook not too long ago.

No. It was a lurker who would post in GYERO about 5x a year or so. Nice dude.
That was me at pbs. Same "nice guy" that snapped when Meeks hit the late three at rupp against Florida and uncontrollably yelled in a florida fan's ear (that had been obnoxious all game). Someone from gyero posted about seeing the incident the next day. Anth called me a redneck.

SAE was the mortgage officer on a HELOC that my wife took out prior to her being my wife. Saw his name on the paperwork.

Ha! No kidding? Still kick myself for never getting anything done during my branch banking days. Seems like that *should* have been easy.

Come on in... we're lending.
