- Watched a little CMA Summerfest last night. These dudes aren't even pretending to be country anymore. Skinny jeans and Chucks. Hell, Sam Hunt (who is the absolute worst of the bunch) was dressed like a cross between a normcore hipster and a latino gangbanger. I don't ask for much. I'm not Beavis. Wonder if Devin is jelly? Those two seem inseparable already, despite being polar opposites in nearly every way possible.

Driving by the last couple days it looks like the Rod Hatfield's Got it Good Orange lot is being paved.

Why do they keep paving all the damned parking lots? Paved tailgating is a much shittier experience than a nice grass lot. Who gives a **** if you end up with a muddy field every few years?

I walked over there yesterday and the red lot (is it still called that?) was being paved. Alumni is coming along nicely. They were also putting in curbs/paving the green lot up near the stadium/concourse area. There was work in the blue lot too, but I couldn't see it very well.

I want to just walk in the stadium, but having a stroller and a dog makes it a little tough to "sneak" in. It appears a few windows are still missing in the suites/press box.

Brady... I've somewhat been on my best behavior with my UK rants this summer. Builds me some equity from September through March/April, which I need.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for September 5. Glad the Athletics Department has kind of squashed all of the media tours and social media buzz about the stadium renovations the last two weeks. Maybe they realize we're getting into the 11th hour and there's no need for chest pounding and premature ribbon cutting type stuff until the place is actually finished.
