My dining room is a play room. Nice video game setup. Play FIFA (or whatever) and kitchen just a few steps away for beverages and snacks. Pretty nice actually and highly recommend.

I design houses all the time without dining rooms. They typically are smaller than 1800 sf though.

Didn't 80 say he was going to be building some of those Shipping Container homes? Would be cool to check one of those out in person sometime.

I could never do it, but that show is an addicting watch. Definitely all in favor of simplifying, just not to that degree.

Top 3 GYERO'ers most likely to adopt the 'small house' lifestyle at some point.

1.) Adam
2.) PTI(pti)
3.) Joey

Just can't fathom that situation if you are married, unless you're looking for a visit from:

Our dining room is to the right when you walk in our front door. We rarely use it, but my wife loves it because it looks very nice and everyone gets to enjoy its beauty in the open floor plan.

I like it because my cat enjoys coughing up hairballs under the table.

Either this offense under Dawson will be top 3 in the SEC or we are being trolled by the media.

Goodness it sounds like we will be turbo efficient from reading the open practice reports from yesterday.

also..posed' to be SEC is becoming SEC. Westry good lord....a CB? :flushed:

Chad & I got in a fight in his 'dining' room earlier this year while eating some 3am awful Dominos, spilled into his den though.

-Chris Westry just looks/sounds like he should be at Auburn or something imo.

-Dawson just has this confident little vibe about him, pretty much worship. We'll see how that goes when we actually play ball.

I looked through JDrum's practice gallery on facebook last night. I typically  at the annual "bigger, faster, stronger" ********, but Jesus, there are some impressive looking athletes at Nutter this year.

OFFICIAL W/L prediction coming later today...

Chad, you keep mentioned Ayton reclassifying to 2016. I haven't read this in any of the articles I've seen about him. Have you read this somewhere, are you just being an insightful college basketball?

Well considering he's already 17 and he'd be 1/2 along with Giles in the '17 draft, I figured he'd try. Apparently, his academics are ****, though, so I may be off.

My wife and I lived in a 300 sf apartment for five years: no problem. We had french doors to cordon off the bedroom, which were key.

The "tiny house" people are hobbyist, contrarian, trustifarians IMHO.

Living in 300sf in a vibrant city (w/o kids) where the bars and restaurants are your living room isn't bad at all. But limiting yourself to sleeping in a loft bed under a gable and being able to accommodate two guests in your home anywhere else is absurd.

Now, we live in a 1750sf 3BR home from 1929 that was built to reasonable, human proportions.

The only feature that is "behind the times" is the bathroom setup. The upstairs bathroom wasn't designed to accommodate a working wife in 1929. And the basement's "semi-open mudroom" toilet and shower combo don't get much use from dad washing away the daily grime of his blue collar job before he enters the "house proper" from the basement stair. (Both to be remedied in the remodel of 2017.)

Or we might have a bad defense...

Built our new construction couple years ago, builder and his designer asked if we wanted a formal dining room or a kitchen/dining area/hearth room/wet bar all in one giant open area...easy choice. Small-batch craft farm-to-table farm table expandable to 10 for artisan supper needs.

Pretty glad I'm on the opposite end of Chief on this and all topics, every hen that sees it loves it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm anti dining room and your set up sounds nice. I just happen to believe that Chase and most guys will be lucky if their hens allow them to get a house without a DR.

Getting your hopes up about the football team. No thanks

I haven't seen anything outlandish here. We do have better talent. We do have more experience. Our coaching appears competent. And people are generally calling for 6 wins at most.

247 has SKJ at #18 and looks like he'll be rising in everyone else's rankings soon. Everything I read this summer about his play was positive. Nice start in a strong class. Doesn't appear to hurt us at all with any other recruits either.

[laughing]

Sure as summer brings fall, and fall begets winter, UK football hostage will begin their annual downplaying of our weaknesses, the pumping up of our strengths, and the ritualistic process of self-inflicted mental rape.

-Lol at Brooksie getting the script flipped on him by BBdk. Yes, by all means be sure to fill us in on your next couples dinner. Edge of my seat bubs.

-We have a 4 seat hightop table in the kitchen and a dinning room table. Use the dinning room more.

-China is stupid. I have 2 sets of heirloom china and one of wedding stuff.

-Don't lump me in with Tommy, I don't shop at AE/ wear oversized white new balance 375's/non-tailored pleated slacks OR John as I don't have a membership card at Tommy Bahama(granted his loaf game is really solid). Don't want to be lumped in with guys that wear cream servers jackets, white shirts and moccasin horsebits loafers with formal wear. Thanks though.

-Tubby was our best dressed coach. TS. Pitino has a strong suit game but some times goes a little too far. I guess thats the wop in him.

-I'm optimistically skeptical of Dawson love the vibe but the dude is pretty unproven, right? I mean he was basically a position coach at WVU and not running the offense at all. Gets rave reviews though.

-Any day we pull a kid out of Tobacco Road it's a win.

-Baker/Bone/Montgomey/Badet/Conrad =

Hey Chase GFY. I spent a lot of good money on these god damn season tickets and I'm going to be excited from now all the way through September 30th. You can blow me and my chairback seats.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Please don't yell at me. That wasn't a dig at you, that was just an observation of the fan base in general. #GBB #BBNFOREVER #WILDCATFRIENDS

Wonder if the all the lucky people formerly in front of the perfectly-behaved Schembaldwin clan are holding any type of celebratory outing for their new seats away from us?

No idea what our record is going to be, but there is one thing I can guarantee with 100% certainty...there will be at least one "rip your guts out, successfully get them back in, just when you think you're actually going to live you get sepsis and die" moment.

~We actually use the dining room whenever we have anyone over, which is why I was bitching about having to move all the crap off of it now. Now that it has been redecorated, the next project is taking wallpaper out of the half bath and remodeling it. Woo. Hoo.

~The dining room is right off the kitchen. If you really wanted to you could stand in the dining room and get something out of the fridge. Don't think it's inconvenient at all.

~Put me down for 5-7 this year. Lot of games we could win, but not many that we should definitely win.

~Viince Marrow audio this morning something to the effect of "We don't take the back door to nobody." [laughing]

~Marrow is clearly set up to be the guy that will fall on his sword in the event we ever get caught cheating and I'm sure he's perfectly fine with that.

I can tell you that my moms cousin that sat near, maybe behind but can't remember, texted and said "I'm glad we don't have to sit next to those people again".
