Per UK the problem with traffic was that they did not get UK police in their spots until after the final buzzer due to a potential field rush situation. Normally they send the police to their positions at the start of the 4th quarter.

This makes sense to me. I think at other times we actually have rushed the field which spread everything out.

It was like Thunderdome after the game and there was very little police presence.

I'm all for making football a damn spectacle. The cat walk is cool in that is supports the team but after a while those that aren't "All In" are wondering when they can leave to get the last few beers in. If crazy ole Boom wants to get out there and raise hell to get the people talking, then get after it.

-Watched the replay last night. Baker did drop that td pass that was placed in his lap but Hargraves was all over him prior to the ball arriving. Total pass interference. Think Baker spent so much time getting free that he was shocked when the ball landed in his numbers. Still should've caught it.

-Man, Florida's DE's were pinning their ears back on almost every play. Asafo Adjei had his lunch eaten. Should've countered with placing 2 TE's on the line or some rollouts to get Towles more space.

- Boom is unreal and is only going to get better. His vision is uncanny.

- Swindle is garbage.

- Defense played very disciplined football, especially in the 2nd half. Ware did some nice things. Meant, Johnson and Lewis played well.

Tate Leavitt was recruited on the idea of him stepping right in for Swindle next season, and he better be ready to do it. Because as bad as Swindle has been, if nobody has been able to beat him out, that's an equally concerning sign.

lol what's a TE?

Do think Towles looked more comfortable the few times he was rolled out. Usually a good idea to settle a spastic QB down. Downside is the way their DL was playing he could have been literally murdered if someone doesn't get a chip in at least, which was a possibility.

I think the significant possibility of Towles death by DE was probably why they didn't look to roll him more. Kinda like how the WWE won't let Daniel Bryan wrestle Brock Lesnar.

Tuesday Randos:

- This is NOT a fan take. The fan in me wants to punch myself in the balls then face. This is just a take from a place of logic.

The Bengals at 33-1 right now to win the Super Bowl. They have a great offensive line, two legit RBs, one of the 5 best WRs in football and now a legit TE. Atkins is back to terrorizing offensive lines, thus our pass rush is back. There's talent in the secondary.

As a LONG SHOT, isn't that a smart bet?

- The lass wants me to go home with her to Virginia for Christmas. I really don't want to anyway for family reasons (not just my parents, but getting to see cousins, uncles, aunts, etc), but what really sealed her fate is UK-Louisville on December 26. I just can't see myself watching that game away from the Bluegrass, and now that my old college roomie has season tix, I'm probably Option B to his old man's Option A to grab his extra.

- I am really excited about Saturday. Rolling out around 10:30 with Willy. Excited to visit Lex in the Fall, which is a treasure. Excited to tailgate and see the Cats in a BIG SEC matchup. And excited to see most of you touchers. Plus, Boat's letting us crash at his pad so I'm sure that means HOT TUB PAR-TAY late night!!!!

- I have absolutely no clue what's going on in MLB right now. Like no idea.

If you look at their roster, they are as good as anyone looking at 21 of the 22 positions. Thin at LB since no one knows what's going on with Burfict, but that might be their weakest unit overall. Their offense is pretty stacked and deep across the board. But, the book on the Bengals is and always will be "Dalton* gonna Dalton*" at some point. But really they've done a better job building a roster than most.

* clearly this only refers to the old Andy Dalton, whereas this one has turned the page and is playing lights out, which I expect to continue throughout the year and into the postseason.

Holiday travel is just difficult when you are from different states. We rotate certain holidays, but recently decided that Christmas is ours and if you want to see us you can come to whatever all-inclusive resort we are spending the week at.

It's amazing to me how good Taylor Swift's stuff really is, actually. I'm not a huge fan or anything but I don't think she's written a song that I hate. The chick is just really, really good.

Could never miss my mom's Christmas...she'd pretty much die. I missed Thanksgiving one year for Barclays, and that was hard enough on her...

Works out where we do her family's on the 24th, and mine on the 25th. It's a travel rush/grind, but it's better than having to miss mine every other year I suppose.

Nothing wrong with Taylor Swift. Easy on the eyes and ears.

Betting on the Bengals is never a smart bet.

Betting on the Football Cats is never a smart bet.

MLB is crazy right now with Toronto's ascent to the top of the mountain. Hadn't even thought about the Blue Jays since Joe Carter. Blue Jays Royals in the ALCS? What???

^ and traveling 1000 miles between 7 different families & marginal and redundant dinners with mostly extended family I don't give 2 touches about.

Agree with Chad, it's horrible.

My extended family doesn't really interact with each other and she doesn't really have any. Christmas is pretty simple.

My dad's family's Thanksgiving
My mom's family's Thanksgiving
Her dad's family's Thanksgiving
My dad's family's Christmas
My mom's family's Christmas
Her dad's family's Christmas
Christmas with my dad and my siblings
Christmas with my mom and my siblings
Christmas with her parents and her siblings

It's ridiculous and we had to draw the line this year.

When you have kids, Christmas is at home...and whatever else you can work out. That's just the way it is, and we made that decision awhile ago.

Thanksgiving is usually at my wife's house in Michigan and works great with the 4 day weekend.

Kids make it more difficult, and a lot easier.

My brother and his family (2 small kids) still go to about 6-7 Thanksgiving meals, including the one we host for my family and in-laws. So he's schlepping around all of NKY all day, I stay at home, drink beer, watch football, eat and "cook" (fry a turkey).

My dad won't say it out loud, but I know deep down inside he'd glad one of us gets it.

Have kids, holidays kinda solve themselves after the first year. We did the grand tour every year until kids got involved. They all understand that dragging a kid around like that is asinine so we now get to dictate it. Thanksgiving has been at our house where her family has came in the last two years for dinner (being able to feast and roll to your own bed after the night game, heavenly). Christmas we wake up at our house (non negotiable) and then we drive to my parents for the evening. Catch her parents either Christmas eve or the day after, wife's schedule dictates.
