Re: Mizzou crowd... Interesting to me that both of the SEC teams we've played this year have brought way less fans than I can remember either of them. (Obviously, Missouri has only had one chance prior).. I can't help but wonder if it's because we took away half their lower level seats.

It was miserably windy upstairs in the second half.

That strike over the middle to Conrad was a beautiful thing to see. Also loved the call on the 1st down to go right to Baker for the 6. Towels with a really nice bounce back game. Only recall maybe one bad throw from him. Solid performance from the big guy when we really needed it.

I haven't really checked out the rankings much, but I'm assuming we've gotta be getting close to cracking the top 25, no? 4-1, ranked and Auburn in primetime would be ridiculous.

I couldn't remember which station between 590 and 630 was the better Sunday morning option. So I tried 590 first and heard that idiot talking Browns and Bengals football. That's when I knew I'd chosen poorly.

The hype for basically the next 2 1/2 weeks for the Auburn Thurs nighter is gonna be crazy

Adding Flannigan makes us filthy on defence

Put Garret Johnson back on punt returns please

With the weather system coming from the east the wind was weird last night. Normally the lower level is insulated but it was fairly chilly.

Towles from 30% to 80% passing is just weird. Totally different passing game for us last night. I liked it.

Only gripe is too many 3 and outs. Dawson loved the run on first down last night.

2 things that we overcame that normally never happen: 1st and 29 and the overturned pick 6. They used to cost us.

Bonus points for the fiasco down in Austin yesterday. Charlie singlehandedly costs his team the tying FG, then his special teams ***** down their leg on a punt. Game, Cowboys. UT fan can not be happy.

I was actually really impressed with the environment in the "New CWS" considering the lack of pre-game hype all week. The upper level corners weren't filled but the crowd was really into it & UK has figured out the music thing. The environment in the games feel like a big time SEC stadium & the product on the field is headed that way too.

Good seeing some of the crew before the game at the tailgate. Need to get a few more of you all(sans SAE) to stop by for some of the games. The Auburn tailgate & environment is going to be ridiculous. Already Huber giddy about that game & its still about 2 weeks away.

After last night, I am fine with never, ever seeing Ryan Timmons return any kicked ball ever again at UK. Good Lord.

* We are 3-1 and the defense has lead us throughout. *No one* would have seen that coming at the beginning of the year.

* Barker has to play against EKU just for cajones sake. I am rooting for at least one series with Barker in the diamond formation with Hyde as fullback with instructions to blow up Graffree on every play regardless of other options and Barker to run the draw right behind him.

* Garrett effing Johnson. That kid can play.

* With Westry and Ware out there, we now have the kind of athletes on defense that other SEC schools do. As UCL said, it is kind of remarkable to see. Plus we seem to be able to somewhat contain the run and running QBs. When the f*** has that ever been the case at UK?

Never. Never is the answer.

* I still don't trust Towles but that kid has a cannon. Some of the throws he pulls off are ropes. See the strike up the middle to Johnson. He will make an NFL roster.

Is it possible to pay the refs to make a god awful call to start every game or at least early on? It will get the fans off their butts and in to the game. Such as last night. And I think our guys kind of like their backs against the wall.

How awesome is it to have DL that fly around and make plays? CJ is one of those kids that turns into a different player on game day. Ware is getting better everyday and is a freshman. LB play was just as solid, flanigan flies to the ball and both him and forest have great football instincts.

Elliot won't be here long...

So that Graffree dude is on tape committing assault. And he's playing? No suspension, no jail, nothing? Wow.

If EKU is dumb enough to play him, you have to maim the punk on principal, don't you?

You damn well have to try, without being (you know) COMPLETELY obvious about it.

Or maybe we should be completely obvious about it.

Towles stepped up and ended the QB controversy but Barker *HAS* to play against EKU.

So Stoops makes a cool $250k if he reaches 7 wins, and an additional $250k per win thereafter? I mean there's a good chance he'll have a quarter million riding on the Louisville game, straight up. LOL

I like to know these things. Makes it a lot more interesting.

Jones said in one of his periscopes that Barker was the one that wanted to go to the dorm and all of the other players there said it was a stupid idea and it was asking for trouble. Kind of a "told ya so" thing, I guess.

He also said at least half of the team was pissed about it and (me inferring here) were basically getting close to getting physical with the guys who sided with Baker and Dubose.
