You really think I'm dumb enough to leave the Harrisons in there? You think I wasn't watching them piss away our chance at 40-0. Of course I knew it, but my hands were tied. My personal integrity required me to play those two even if they were going to ruin my our chance at perfection. Those two are awful. I knew it, you knew, hell even they knew it; but I'm a man of integrity and that game wasn't about me, it was about them. Let me be clear. This loss was about them. A man of principles must stand by them even in the face of certain doom. Again, if you want to blame anyone, blame the twins. Not me. God bless.

And you could argue Ulis should've been in (you'd be sacrificing D, which was stout until that damn shot clock violation bucket), but I don't see how you could argue two of the most clutch Wildcats ever with a ton of big game experience shouldn't have been in there. It's not like Booker was playing good ball anyway.

Shut up Chad.

Learn how to both Love/Worship Cal & also be annoyed by him in the offseason (or when he's talking).

It's actually really easy.

It's not even about the Twins, it's about Cal not shutting up & continuing to talk about this ******** when nobody wants to hear it. The season starts in 5 days, enough already. [sick]

If you do one certain thing really well, you aren't allowed to be criticized for anything else that you do. Common knowledge, IMO.

But I'm not annoyed by him. This wasn't an interview. This was a coach's clinic.

If you want to criticize him, have at it. I'm also allowed to stick up for him.

But I'm not annoyed by him..

And I'm telling you that you should be, wake up.

Coaches Clinic? who cares?

Now he's putting out his usual nauseating facebook, twitter, and website posts "explaining" what he really meant -- and now GYERO (you) are talking about that damn game again.

Good job Cal, Good job Chad.

Well, this is GYERO. Football only, how are we going to ever be SEC if we keep talking hoops in September.

-Does 'Not Kyle Tucker, man' want to step forward? You do a great job, btw.

It's Cal's 7th year. By now people should be able to read through this crap. Happens every year and no matter what he will always take players' backs. He loves controversy and in a weird way thrives in it. That's who he is.

Also, from a technical standpoint Booker was getting dogged on defense and wasn't shooting worth a **** in March.

Always thought he should've gone with Ulis, the twins, Anthony Towns and Lyles down the stretch.

Over it in the short term sense and really excited about this up and coming team & how they'll play.

Not going to get all bent out of shape about a Cal comment in September. Have to filter through this stuff by now.

Thanks Richie, that was very thoughtful.

He still gets on my nerves sometimes. It's okay, really. I'm okay, it's okay.

Points guys:

Was reading the other day, and it sounds like you can get 50K rewards points for the Premier card, and then also sign up for the business card and get 50K more points. Then you get another 10K in points and you'll get a companion pass for the remainder of the calendar year, and the following year. Basically, it looks like you could make that happen and essentially get a companion pass for two years if your final points post in January. Is this correct?

Also, do you have to use the 110,000 on the companion pass, or do you just automatically get the companion pass and still get your 110K points? TIA.

No, you get the Companion Pass, then still have 110K points to use for flights).

And yes, make sure you wait til Jan for your points to post so you get almost 2 years. It's unreal.

I think we're going to win the championship in 15-16. Just really like the vibe I'm getting from this bunch and the toughness in the backcourt. That's why I wish the coach would stop being such a big goof about 14-15. It's done. Stop reminding people of the awesome car you wrecked. There's a new awesome car.

Have the results been great? Yes. Should he shut up? Yeah, probably. Big dumb goof.

jacob also doesn't pay attention to or read about work during that time period every year, either. good to see him apply that philosophy to multiple issues in his life.

Yes, it's amazing. I think we got 5-6 flights including Cancun for it. Even if you fly just a few times it will pay for itself.

BBdk, did they renew it?

[laughing] @ that quote. Jesus, Cal. I know what he's saying but come on, still too fresh.

It's like Cal woke up this morning and Geese Feeder was on his hit list. Probably had one of his digital spies jot down his name after a Harrison or DDMO rant. Then was like, "Oh it's Sept 28th, yes, today's agenda is to TROLL THE EVERLOVING **** out of Geese." [Insert those quotes.]

I think I heard Geese's head explode all the way out here in Athens. Calm down buddy. Lots of good going on around us.

Why would they renew it? You have to 'earn' 110K points in a calendar year for them to renew it.

Gonna do one on her, next.

We used it 13 times in a little under 2 years...incredible. Gonna suck *** not having it. #spoilt

-Surprised Mr. High School Football hasn't mentioned it but -> "Missed pretty bad on UF's mentality." Pulled out 2 gritty wins that woulda submarined the season and sent into tailspin. The game before they looked rough and had a coach I thought was losing his team. Now they're tied up top in the east and have a nice young QB gaining confidence. I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. Good for them and SAE.

-Speaking of, I'm assuming the actual sentiment in the locker room is to inflict pain on EKU. I know I feel that way.

-Going to rewatch the game, I wasn't really drunk I just feel like I was so pissed for a large portion of it that I've blocked it out.

-If Boom walked off the field then sit him Saturday. Pretty easy call.

-Oh, I thought that SW hadn't decided to renew the program past this year. Doesn't sound like the case though. We have enough to get us through next year in other points with what'll likely be a down year in travel. Probably go again in Jan 17. Need to get back on top of things now that life has settle down a bit.

-Wish it was a bye or off weekend. That'll be nice before the Auburn weekend run.

Heythanks, Anth.

You're a bit late for the vine, though. Gatton/Richie brought me back down to earth rather quickly once I was reassured that is just who Cal is and to take the good with the bad.

Good looking out, fellas. Everyone all around, really.
