Give Stoops some credit, at least they stopped letting Timmons return punts.

Waiting for my flight to Chitown. Can't believe we got Duke tomorrow. I mean, they lost their power core of players too. Think it's a coin flip really.

Hey Tommy, where's the good bbq?

Lining up from the shotgun inside the 5-yard line is my anti-hatboggan. Bear Bryant would vomit in shame at the thought of doing that.
I loathe this, and a lot of teams do it now. The Bengals do it. The Patriots do it. Airone does it*. Again- I blame our soft hipster millennial college kids for this.

*Actually Alabama doesn't do it, since their gameplan seems to now be "grind you into paste". Maybe Lane Kiffin is football's only hope.

I still don't think QB is our #1 problem, but once you made the switch on Saturday (and it was definitely time to do so), you had to stick with it for longer than they did. There was no reason to go back to Towles.

Now everyone's confused. And nobody has any confidence.

Other than Andy Dalton, a QB isn't going to magically get better in his 5th year, and PT is getting much worse.

It's time to just roll with Barker and hope he doesn't continue to throw pick 6's.

Love the QB draws with our 6'4"/230 dropback cracker QBs, imo.
Ha, it took dumbass Dawson 10 games to figure out what Neal Brown knew all last season....when you have **** O line blocking & wide receiver dickfingers, sometimes the best damn play is just have the QB take the snap and plow up the middle

If you like syrah no reason you shouldn't like any other full bodied red. Zin, Cab, Merlot, Malbac.

Congrats you have achieved the next level of relationship.

The team just has a weird vibe to it. Seems to be very clique-ish, with several guys (Towles, Boom) just keeping to themselves.

Talent aside, Baker can get PUMPED, btw. He only gives a F when he has a chance to make himself look good. Don't ever recall noticing such blatantly poor loafing/body language from a UK Football player. It's bizarre -- even moreso that Stoops/coaches tolerate it.

I can understand Johnson lollygagging re Towles because Towles has been actively trying to get him killed all season. Baker has no excuses for loafing.

It looked like Baker was dogging it when Towles was in. He missed blocks on the edge for him and stopped running out a route he could have possibly made a play on. Barker comes in and he runs full head of steam and makes a catch across the middle and later drags about 4 guys an extra 5 yards.

"I told you Ulis would struggle this year playing 30 minutes per game without 8 NBA guys on his team and you laughed at me. Hmmm"

Me: Lol, Ok

"I did. Pisses you off, but I was right"

[laughing] Dude is seriously the WORST. We're like 3 days into the season...

- Enough with the football talk. It's a giant dumpster fire and rehashing it all makes me sick to my stomach. To think this is where we are is infuriating. Spare me the record crap.. It's the nature in which we are losing & the Jokeresque disorganization.

- Let's talk the matchup with Duke. Suppose they're a guard dominated team like we are?

Guess their bigs are anchored by Jefferson & Plumlee? Does the Jeter dude start?

Ingram is 6'9" but he's more of wing/guard.

Think we will be able to get to the rim against these dudes and get good looks.

Not confident in out defense yet. It's going to take time for Murray and Skal to adjust on defense.

Should be a high scoring game.

Have to hope Duke has a subpar 3 point shooting night.

The absolute smart move is to get rid of underwhelming DJ Elliot and offer Va Tech DC and KY native Bud Foster $1mil to the same spot at Kentucky.

All dependent on whether he gets the VA Tech opening.

Stoops will not be able to hire a better DC than Elliot or OC than Dawson this offseason even for $2M a year/guaranteed, because good coaches dont jump on board sinking ships

It's really silly when you think about it to get this HYPE and be this REDASS about a November 17 college basketball game, but I will be in March mode tomorrow night.

Think I'm taking this one in alone, too- BBdK-style.

I'm not completely done with Stoops as some of you guys are. He gets another year from me. Disappointed, angry, and concerned, but he's not a lame duck by any stretch. I still think we can beat Louisville. :flushed:
Starting to wonder if you really get it, man.
