...and did she mention "softball" in there? Props for her joking about the bumpy start during her next opportunity, but yikes...

Not a fan of Wright State. Those gritty cocksuckers annoy me.

Skal has way further to go than any of our other elite bigs. He'll get there, I think, but he's not remotely close. He has no clue how to battle for position, and is borderline lazy on defense.

Part of the way through the first half Ulis saw his boys were dogging it and said eff them I'll do it myself.

-Like I said, Skal has a ways to go but it's completely different than the other bigs(maybe not Towns). His touch is so good. I don't think he's lazy at all, I think it just looks that way b/c he is constantly out of position. He's literally learning how to actually play. That's why he's always following, having a hard time on the blocks. He's just never in the right position. Thankfully Lee, Poythress and IZack seem to be ready to roll.

-Scrappy team and Cal doing a lot of experimenting tonight. We gotta start hitting outside shots at a decent clip.

-I don't know if I've ever watched a home game on SECN but that was pretty rough. That chick was really bad.

-Bob settled the week down with some home smoked buffalo wings, likely a couple bottles of wine, some dark water and broccoli.

-Gotta get back in the lifting game. Running is going great. After Sunday I'll get 20+ miles in for the 3rd straight week. Pace is solid. Its pretty hard to find a non-LA Fitness gym with a f*cking shower around this city.

-So do house sitters obviously just go through your **** or nah? I assume yeah. Oh well.

-Barbee rolling colbalt blazer for Brooksie. Not a fan of the khakis with it.

Skal = lazy take may be among the most simpleton takes ever....

He's 4 games into his first big boy basketball. Lost, inexperienced, timid, soft, even clueless I can entertain for now...but not really, he's fine.

Lazy?

[eyeroll]

Holla in late Feb if these issues are still relevant, and then I'll listen and be concerned. Doubt that's the case.

Yep. He's ridiculous and scoring a lot which is pretty crucial. I love him constantly coaching out there. Getting on Poythress and Lee, upperclassmen. Dude is special special.

Completely shocked that Briscoe is the next smartest player on the court. He must just be sponging on Ulis. Complete faith that something good is going to happen when he touches it.

Skal played on a make believe team last year with what can only be assumed as subpar coaching.

Let's give him more than two weeks to get it going, doug.

Jones is right about one thing, nice to have guards that finish at the rim. Have they missed a layup? Shew. Shew.

OSU losing to Texas.... Arlington. Come on.

I mean I get everyone's frustrations with the game on the Mags post game, but the continiuty and the spacing was still good and much better compared to many Cal era early season teams. Talk to me about Skal in January.

I guess im just enjoying the ride and letting these guys eat before I eat. I really like this team and it is 100% ulis/briscoe as college basketballs.

Skal will be fine, Ulis is a Bauce, NYC>CHI in the winter, and Howland is an awful effing coach and I don't care what you say WCC. He got lucky with Edny and Westbrook but he can't coach his way out of a wet paper sack and if it weren't for Addidas he would be standing in line at the soup kitchen.

You can correct my spelling but I'd be more worried about my questionable fashion decisions if I was you.

Howland's foresight to recruit Cameron Dollar, knowing that Edney would get injured on their tourney run, was one of the best coaching decisions in modern basketball history

Judging by the number of tickets I have been offered (unsolicited) this week, if the terrorists attack Commonweath Stadium tonight, there won't be any casualties.

I almost had to pay somebody to take my tickets and parking passes for tonight's game. Had a nice pair of 5th row, mid court uppers for last nights basketball game that went to waste. Had a post of Facebook for 2 hours offering them FOR FREE and not a soul inquired about them.

For us tonight: fun event/party/live entertainment at one of the horse farms we do business with or freeze your *** off at Commonwealth to watch them play a **** team.

I think we made the right decision.

Boom. Party.

Good luck Drew Barker.

-Am I the only one who hopes Shannon Dawson actually gets that head coaching gig? I wish someone would offer DJ Eliot a head gig somewhere as well.

-Again, the Louisville game determines out fate. If Stoops loses it again, hes in the starting stages of the hot seat and will have to make tough decisions. Are your head coordinators the ones you want to ride or die with?

Is anyone tailgating???

* jaimanth...going to run some money by sometime here soon for my group at the UT game. Ben thought I was throwing in and vice versa, that was totally rude.:grimace:

Skal is just young and doesn't know how to play hard consistantly. I'd say he'll be rolling by mid season.

[laughing] @ the entire team talking ish to that dude. Even Poy came in and called him a touch boi. Briscoe is quickly becoming one of my favorite players, he is going to be what we all wanted for drew roc.

You can see it with Murray. In the near future he will have a 25-10-5 type game...dude just oozes potential.
