65 on Christmas is absolute HORSE *****. Adrian nailed it yesterday. Christmas/NYE and thanksgiving to a certain extent *need* to be 30-40 degrees. Just like Memorial Day would be awful if it was drizzle and 59. This weather has me livid.

Been saving Christmas Vacation for tomorrow night. Seems like Christmas has just really snuck up this year lol probably this stupid *** weather. Southern lights tonight, annual FrankenChristmas dinner at Chuy's tomorrow night.

Tyler Ulis looked a lot better last year when he was playing with 32 future NBA players. Not sure he'd have that in the league.

Clemson is building a recruiting center with mini-golf, laser tag and beach volleyball. Dabo is just the f*cking man. Chad is a total loser who enjoys nothing in life so I'd totally expect he not like Dabo. Glad to be on the opposite side of him on that topic.

We got our boys tablets this year because they are way too young for phones. Hoping the tablets take some of the pressure off of me to entertain them.

Scrooged last weekend, Home Alone last night, Christmas Vacation tonight.

Will mix in the Ref, Bad Santa, Emmet Otter Jugband Christmas, and Christmas story the next few days.

At halftime of the Sparks game CISCO was doing this little shimmy at midcourt with TAQUAN while Freedom Hall ejaculated itself into a frenzied premature celebration. The moment that this new age UL fan was here to be heard became a reality.

Almost passed out with rage at that moment.

Can't imagine you appreciated the 16 points we scored in the first half of that game.

I had never seen White Christmas before. We caught a bit of it in our room in NYC one night.

Yesterday I noticed Marge had DVR'd it for us. I'm looking forward to watching it.

Elf is stupid and I love every minute of it. I love all of the classic Christmas cartoons.

Bad Santa ia a must watch for me as well.

A Christmas Story is my all time fav, though.

I'll watch it's a wonderful life on Xmas eve, then watch bits and pieces of a Christmas story. Like to have it on in the background while Santa is doing his thing. Can't stand Christmas movies or music on Christmas Day though. I'm done with them by then. Kinda weird? Idk.

Richie is right about the 2004 game being the comin out party for the new age UL fan. We had lost 2 straight against them and they really thought that Pitino had hit his stride.

Maybe as mad as I have ever been in a UK half during that first half. That dancing at half really set me off.

It could not have ended any better.

I'm reading this currently.

Between figuring out ^ and whether we're having kids, 2 pretty stressful/huge decisions occupying my thoughts of late.

Become Catholic. You can gamble and drink, your kid can play winning high school football, plus your four best friends are all Catholic- me, ABH, Anth and SAE.

[laughing] Seth Davis just did his annual BS column where he gives each contender a player from another team. As with all Davis columns, it's shoddy and there are no fewer than 20 GYERO posters who could do a better job- not just the analysis but also the writing. He's nearly as bad as Bryan The Intern.

Anyway- did this idiot give us a back-to-the-basket 5-man? Nope. Did he gives a shotblocker to protect the rim? Nope. Did he gives a deadeye wing? Nope. Did he gives us a stretch 4-man?

No- he gave us Roosevelt Jones, essentially a slightly bigger, less-talented Isaiah Briscoe, a guy who's shooting 0-for-0 from 3-point range this season. I love Jones but that has to be one of Davis's dumber opinions of all-time which is saying something.

Did Home Alone 2 last night, found it on Amazon for like 7 bucks. It was the touching standard version that uses about 1/2 the TV. Zoomed in a ton to fill the screen, looked like ****. Reminded me when I used to watch it on the VCR hooked up to our 500 pound tube tv.

I legitimately think I scared my dad with some of the stuff I said while we were watching that game. Not my finest hour.

Jones going #ALL IN today on KSR pretty much guaranteed this is Pitino's last UK/UL game as coach of the Cardinals.

Speaking of Rick, Since 2003 he has three wins in the series ( 2008, 2009, 2013) with two of those (09,13) coming against Kentucky teams that ended their seasons in the NIT and the other against a team that finished 18-13.

I really don't get it. He had a .750 winning percentage in the same rivalry as the UK head coach.

That's a weird way to frame it though isn't it? As long as you're picking an arbitrary start date you may as well say since 2010 Rick has one win in the series (despite two extra chances at it in the tournament). Or just say that since 2003 He's won three times in 12 years. Come on, Crankdat, learn stat manipulation.

Southern lights is a total ripoff. Long lines, arm and leg to do the "inside" activities, redneck as ****, but we do it every year and the kids eat it up, so it's tradition at this point. Basically just like everything else this time of year.

Trying to wrap my mind around the matchup on Saturday. Really to do.

I've only seen them play most of the Mich St game and some minutes here and there of some other games.

They're putting up some silly #'s from an efficiency standpoint on both offense & defense. Sure some of that has to do with their crappy schedule but KenPom adjusts for that.

How do we want to play against them? Supposedly Pitino is not using as much of their signature matchup zone & playing more man because of their youth/inexperience.

Guess we focus on making it as hard as heck for Lewis & Lee to get theirs and dare the others to beat us.

Rupp's going to have to play a major role for us to win. One of those Rupp moments that elevates us to play one of our best games this season.

Keep Lee and Lewis combined 30 points or less and we walk.

Don't trust anyone else on their team to get buckets, especially in the Rupp enviroment.

Put Briscoe on Lee. Stop the dribble penetration. Be active on the glass. And most importantly...

HIT SOME SHOTS.

I think the glass is where this game will be won and lost. Need somebody we're not exactly expecting to have a big game- maybe Willis, Humphries, Matthews...

McCarron >>>> Dalton

Anyone heard of Michter's Bourbon? Made in Shively but I've never seen it on the shelf. Each year a different family member supplies the bourbon for Xmas party and that is this year's brand.

UK +1, F Vegas!!!

Wife is pregnant with #3, hope it's a girl so I can quit making more people. Apparently we can't find out if it's boy or girl until next Tuesday 4 whole days after Xmas. It will be great repeating the same BS story 30x between 5 different families!

1800 miles on my truck the last 10 days between Hardinsburg, Laconia, Taylorsville and Louisville. Needing an oil change within 25 days of my last one is eye opening.

Maxpower loves envelopes with nothing but cash, what's funny is I was a bit unsettled sending it that way. Glad it worked out!

I left my 1st grader at church Sunday. He used that little incident to try and guilt me into getting him a phone for Christmas. Nope.
