*Dabo can get pumped.

*In fairness to my wife, I get out of the car at an incredible pace. I'm the Usain Bolt of exiting a vehicle.

#SEC but I like Clemson.

- All these coaches being named and nobody has mentioned a certain coach down the road that might be unemployed. The return of the King. :cool2:eek:_O

This is the gal who was robbing jewelry stores all over the place, no mask or anything just rolling in and taking all the precious stones. She was a waitress at Hooters before quitting and going to work at Twin Peaks and joining the Lingerie Football League, playing QB for the ATL Stream.

Hot takes ahead...

- welp, Saturday night was even worse than I thought it was going to be. Started out at Moerlein, walked up to Nockback Nat's for the second half. I'll say this- walking around the stadium and the Banks a few hours before the game was pretty cool. The place was electric, but not overly confident. Glad we left though. The scene was AJ Green scored in the 4th quarter was ridiculous. When Burfict made his interception it was even moreso. Dancing on tables, hugging, kissing, it was unreal. Place was still buzzing even after Hill's fumble, but once Burfict drew that flag it started turning ugly. Very, very ugly.

- the game itself was bad. Bengals couldn't do anything on offense but were playing good defense. Steelers were doing the same, although I chalk up the Bengals' offensive woes more to starting an inexperienced QB than good defense. McCarron looked like Dalton did in previous playoff games- focused in on one guy (Eifert) and ignoring AJ Green, who was WIDE OPEN on a few plays that McCarron just never saw.

- as far as where Saturday night ranks on all time worst sports losses, it's up there with last year's Wisconsin game and the 2005 playoffs. I don't see why that's hard to understand. I grew up following the Bengals, grandparents had season tickets at Nippert, parents were friends with a guy who started at QB in a super bowl for the Bengals, it's something I followed at least as closely as I do UK basketball. And this roster was good enough to win the super bowl this year. Or at least win a wild card game against a less talented team. I'm embarrassed about how upset I still am about the game- just like last year.

- It won't happen but the Bengals need to make changes. Burfict should be gone and they should draft his replacement. Just too many negatives that outweigh the considerable positives. Lewis needs to move up to GM or something. You put a better coach in charge of this roster, someone who can control the team, and they're a contender. I appreciate what he's done but it's time to move on. They've got a lot of good pieces still signed up and you can't argue with Marvin lewis' ability to build a team, but he isn't the guy for game day duties anymore. Move him to GM and hire Hue Jackson as HC- that's the move, but they won't do it.

- the NFL should burn the tape from Saturday. If the Bengals had won, all of the stuff being written about them losing their cool, handing over the game, etc. would be (or should be) written about Pittsburgh. Joey Porter's sole reason for being apparently was to draw a flag on the Bengals and he did it. Their coaches already had a PF called on them. This from the same staff that is led by a guy who tripped a player during a game a few years ago. But, the Steelers have the advantage of having actually won the game. They're a better class of knuckleheads. And the NFL can get pumped for sending the same crew from week 13 to the game on Saturday. That's infuriating. They lost control of both games and the Steelers took advantage of the Bengals' inability to handle it both times. Not to mention just the questionable calls on the Bryant TD flip, the hit on Bernard, etc. I guess the NFL doesn't have reason to care- ratings are still climbing, and this game in particular set viewing records, but g-damn it sucks.

- I'll go get pumped now.

I'm 50/50, and will pull simply for my GAMBOL interests. Would normally be #SECSECSEC, but if you'll kindly recall our conference "friends" were openly pulling against us last March. Therefore, they can all get pumped six ways to Sunday.
Same. Of course I also swore off football early Sunday morning so I don't care really.

Positive for this season is the seeding competition around us is losing as well. Really important to secure a top 3 seed and the Louisville Regional. Teams ranked from 6-25 marcus just split hairs.

We really need to win all the games leading up to KU. Can't go dropping one to that stretch when the schedule is heavily backloaded like this.

State, @Auburn, @Arkansas, Vandy and Mizzou? Gotta sweep that ****.

6-7 losses and we should be able to nab a 2-3.

If it were any SEC team but Alabama, I would be going for Clemson for reasons SAE described...however, the recent ex is a huge Auburn fan...so Roll Tide.

Yeah, we really should win them all. Just think we will see one clunker, hope not.

Problem with sweeping the games going into KU is that Cal has not won a game in Fayetteville.

Larry gave Eddie lessons back in 1991. So not sure what the big deal is about Stephanie and his little brother.

Not sure if the Jordan crying meme will ever get old for me. I pretty much crack up anytime I see it.

This sounds awful, yet compelling. (But mostly awful.)

HOPE BLACKMON, HOST: Hello single mothers, welcome to “Single Mothers, Let’s Talk,” the very first radio talk show that is devoted to you, single mothers. I am your host, Hope Blackmon. My guest this morning is the author of Breaking Cardinal Rules. I welcome to the show, Katina Powell. Good morning, Katina, and welcome to the show.

POWELL: Good morning, Hope, thank you so much for having me.

BLACKMON: I’m excited about this show.

POWELL: So am I.

BLACKMON: I’m really, really excited. And, you know, your book is very controversial. Breaking Cardinal Rules is the name of the book.

POWELL: Yes.

BLACKMON: You know that it’s huge right now. You, I won’t say American Idol, but based off my Facebook page, I can’t agree with it right now, that page is about the world right now, OK? However, despite all of that that you’re going through in that area, today’s topic is about who is Katina Powell before there was a book.

POWELL: OK.

BLACKMON: Give us some insight about you before this book ever was written, before you came into the public eye, who was Katina Powell. So let’s introduce yourself.

POWELL: I am Katina Powell. I am a very giving woman. I’m a mother before anything. I’m also a grandmother of three beautiful grandbabies.

BLACKMON: Awwww. How many children do you have?

POWELL: I have three beautiful daughters who I’m so very close with. I’m a very giving person. I’m very determined. I’m normal. I’m just like everybody else. I’m no different than any other woman out here. I’m not different than any other single mother out here. Everything is still a struggle. I am Katina Powell, that’s just who I am.

They didnt *lose* in the normal sense that Clemson beat them. Mostly it was poor officiating and actually it was only poor officiating- but the young Cards fought hard ON THE ROAD so this should help on selection sunday.
