-Don't need the TDF trainer. I have my personal bike setup on a digital trainer. Much prefer that.

-Cawood, a link would suffice. We have the ability to click on it and read the article.

Lol. The president of a university is using a political strategist. That dumbass can't get out of his own way. Like we've all said, this closed door bully mentality over there starts at the top and trickles all the way to assistant coaches.

This is just the stuff they're getting caught with. No telling what has gotten past.

Even better is that the (GOP) strategist was hired for the Foundation, not the University...but he essentially wrote Ramsey's statement (for Ramsey's role as President). Emails get released, showing that essentially they are giddy that Bevin wants to get rid of the Chairman of the BOT, who is trying to take away some of Ramsey's power. Then his chief of staff bitches that her comments which were printed verbatim were taken out of context. FYI - she makes around $130K, plus has gotten paid huge money from the Foundation as well.

That place is a ******* criminal organization.

Been on Zwift for 2 months it is really good have done more trainer miles this winter than prior 3 combined. A man of your stature & means should go ahead and get the Wahoo Kicker for the full experience.
Hit me up on there. Not sure what my regular schedule is going to be right now with work being crazy.

^ anyone watched Luther? Seems to be atop most lists with regards to Netflix shows coming from over there.
Late on this but its really good. The Luther/Alice "relationship" is delightfully twisted and disturbing yet you root for them.

Saw The Revenant today. I'm not a "the book was better" guy because honestly reading is boring- but this movie didnt even have the same key elements to the plot, which was a bit weird.

It was really long. And it had cool scenes with neat looking landscape and stuff, but man it was really long. Also I just didnt think it was that good.

Steph Curry is clowning Lebron. Put him on skates, drew a blatant ***** foul, then drained a 3 off a curl without even turning towards the bucket.

Perfect scenario, really. Get Steph >>> Bird and Lebron <<< MJ all in one game

Those guys are running like they're Secret Service and someone just shot the President and fled the scene.

Douche bags. Jesus. I hate that place and occasional I get a healthy reminder. When I'm pulling for Cuse, for instance.

--Yeah, it's way colder here. High was 0 today I believe. That's not a damn temperature. Dogs will barely go outside. Their turds freeze solid to the snow almost immediately. Today I literally shoveled **** for 10 minutes because it's the only way to pick it up. Snow is very overrated when it sticks around longer than 2-3 days.

I was starting to get nostalgic about all the things I'd miss up here when we move back. Honestly there's a lot to love up here… despite my GYERO schtick there are tons of great people, the food is outstanding (especially for someone with Celiac disease) and there's a ton to do… when it's warm. But this weather can go get pumped forever.

--About halfway through Making a Murderer. Very eerie considering some of those news stations are the same ones I've been watching the past few years, and that town isn't all that far away from me. Our hospital gets lots of patients from that area. The ex-boyfriend of the victim is a nurse in the hospital I work at, supposedly he has been getting tons of death threats lately and is not enjoying the attention from the documentary at all.

Saw the Hateful 8 today. Classic Tarantino, not his best, but good. Didn't know much about it going in. They must have dropped over 200 Nbombs...kinda weird on MLK day.

Felt kind of the same as Clark on the Revenant. Glad I saw it, but probably wouldn't watch again.

13 Hours is incredible. Must watch.

Vegas tomorrow.

Honestly, Swimmer, I can't imagine living up there. I have friends that live up there and they've tried to get me to get a job with GE Healthcare up there but I just can't do it. Not with that weather.

It was a neat city and granted, I was up there for the PGA championship (now that's a humble brag) when it was hot as all get out but when you get -50 to -75 windchill, I want no part of that noise. I'll keep the south, thank you.

It got pretty cold in Detroit, but none of this -50 windchill nonsense.

Nostalgia is normal Swimmer. Glad you have some good memories of the place. Sometimes I even miss Iraq, but not very long.

The thing that gets me about northern cities is the lack of greenery. The cities just start to look so grey, and the concrete makes it seem colder than it is. The wind sucks too, as it whips through the buildings. Walking to law school for 3 years in the winter in Boston was just flat out brutal. And things don't bloom until May it seems, when school was over.

reading "league of denial." when mark fainaru-wada is on your tail, you're in trouble. it's about the mike webster/nfl concussion saga. im at the point now that if you read this book, and/or take time to learn about the story, and still let your kids play football, you're a terrible parent. #judgement

bbdks boy jj redick with 40 last night.

goodness, the warriors just flat out clowned the cavs from start to finish. curry suckering lebron into a pushing foul on that pick and roll tie up = :joy:

ran a 52-miler this weekend, and the guy that won is a friend of mine from "down the bayou." think waterboy and crazy thick cajun accent. he only started running a couple years ago, adopted a raw vegan diet, and has lost over 200 pounds. he's been featured several times by rich roll (vegan athlete/diet nerd) for his miraculous transformation. very cool.

poor wcc. must not have wifi in his play fort.
