Grew up skiing in Ohio, went to Tahoe once, bought a snowboard and i've never gone back to Ohio to do it again. Its kind of like going to Camden AMusement Park in WV then going to Disney World.

I'd love to see Peyton win the SB and ride off into the sunset but the way Carolina's D is playing right now, with his weakened arm, they are going to eat him alive.

Granted I haven't been since college, but Perfect North>>>>Paoli.

Both are turds compared to out west. Vail was my favorite.

Happy for the Panthers, but please GTFO and play the Xfiles.

Cam Newton is the most physically impressive athlete I've seen in person. He's a freak of nature.
There was no more sure thing on this gay earth than him marching on us on that last drive at Commonwealth. Wasn't even that mad about it, it was going to happen.

Any jackass can glide down a mountain with 16 inches of fresh powder into a ski-in hot tub with glass of bubbly to comfort your aching quads.

Takes a real man to strap on rental skis from the 80's and push off down a steep hill on top of 4 inches of man made ice with pot holes of mud and gravel. Then chill in a hotel bath tub of ice with a frosty hoping that none of the swollen knots on your body are actual bone fractures.

What isn't awful is Jersey Giant sub sandwiches. Wife brought me back my favorite today from Michigan. Easily my favorite sub sandwich anywhere. Boat, you been there?

No disrespect to Cam but both Seattle and Arizona gave them a win.

That Denver defense isn't too bad either, and Cam doesn't have a bunch of small quick WR's cutting all over the field to open up lanes for Olsen.

Team Peyton.

No cant say I've had that. That in Ann Arbor?

They have them all over Michigan. We go to the one in Lansing all the time when visiting. I think there are a few of them in Detroit. Highly recommend.

Had pizza and a beer at the Schilthorn restaurant in Switzerland once. Definitely better than the LaRosa's at Perfect North.

-LaRosa's is pure garbage. TS.

-How do 2 teams hand Carolina wins? They steam rolled both teams.

-I think we get beat Saturday, probably going away. Hope it's the turning point though. KU just owes one. Gameday. Lawrence. Shew. We still that one and MAYBE just MAYBE Seth Davis, Goodman and CBS will have us in the *others receiving votes.

-This season Willis is shooting a team best 38.5% from deep. What's even better is, it seems like he prefers the deep corner.

-Vandy missed about 100 WIDE *** OPEN 3's on Saturday. Tons of talent on that team.

Did it get your boat? That sucks. Saw several of the boats sunk.

Yeah mine is in that picture. Don't know how bad it is, they can't even get out to it. Will know more later in the week.

Almost all the Cumberland marinas took severe damage. Bunch of boats have sunk, including a 115' houseboat at Jamestown.

No disrespect to Cal but in last years champions classic Kansas gave Kentucky the win.

Monday Randos:

*******GYERO Basketball begins next Monday @ 7:30********

-+$960 in Gambol last week. :fire: Needed that, had a horrible previous 2 weeks.

-Pretty encouraged by the Cats after the last 2 games. Still seems weird that Willis *really* is a key part of this team now...I don't see that changing at this point. :sunglasses:

-Nice complete game from Murray. Kid knows how to put the ball in the hoop, nice to see him showing his full game the past couple. Whether Anth wants to believe it or not, he was slipping into a designated shooter role, and the stats backed it up. Nobody here thinks that's ALL he has/had, just that he was pretty much relegating himself to that at times -- because he was.

-Ran through the first season of "Luther" Saturday night. It's good...but more like a show you'd watch on network TV, imo.

-I also attempted 6 Feet Under, and got about 40 minutes in. I pretty much hated it...assume it gets better, but not sure if I'll have the patience to find out.

-Cam Newton is ridiculous. Knew he was a specimen, but never thought he'd be this in the NFL. o_O That said, #TeamPeyton

-Really incredible how good Tyler Ulis is.

Maggard trying to pump up our JUCO transfer QB by saying, "OMG Cam Newton is awesome and, wait for it... HE went the JUCO route too!!" was about as far reaching as it gets. Newton was recruited and signed as one of the best QB's in the nation... it was getting arrested, not even being academically behind, that forced him into a JUCO season. Quit putting expectations on a kid.

My boy Kyle Collinsworth put up 10 points, 13 rebounds, 15 assists, and 2 blocks Thursday...

...his NCAA Record 10th triple double, and 4th of this season. [laughing]

That's just ridiculous. What a baller.

Only one person really doubted Murray as a versatile scorer. You did say, "currently" in your post which was correct. Pretty easy to see why he wasn't being allowed to create shots and relegated to spot up as the other 4 defender had a foot in the lane. He's not a freak super athlete, although I think he's become underrated in that aspect, but he's really crafty. Then boom once he had some room and has started to figure things out the rest of his game is coming back.

Even on Saturday Geese was making his little smug comments about it, like he's correct. We're certainly far enough along with plenty of exposure and he's still a top 10 pick on nearly every draft board. Not sure when he admits defeat on that one. He's also all in on the Buddy Heild not being like Meeks. #1 that wasn't me that made the comparison. I said I liked the comp but I thought they "looked alike" more than anything.

Wish I would've attended Don Meyer basketball camp.

Good seeing some bonafides on Saturday.

Respectable crew… Bonzo, Geese, JaimAnthony, Beans, AP.com, SuperLurker.

What made my day was a 2 minute visit with The wcc and his hot piece of lass at halftime. He would've been able to avoid us if it wasn't for SuperLurker's keen Facebook skills.

First visit to HopCats. I liked it.

Giant tots FTW.

Oh, and my Cats played really, really swell, too. [thumb2]:100points:

I love seeing the boys BUT... hey guys we're all mid 30's we don't need 4 shots in an hour mid day to have fun.

Bleh. Felt like trash the rest of the day.
