Give me a touching break. They played college basketball for 5 years and have GD degree. Tough ****.
[eyeroll] They also live in the greatest country in the world. They're in great health. The world is their oyster.

I'm pretty sure he meant he felt relatively sorry for them. I get it. They're victims of the fraud of #L1C4 and Louisville Men and all that horse crap.

Um, everyone "feeling sorry" for Lewis and Lee, I hope there are follow up hot takes on how this isn't the NCAA imposing this ban. This is the school and coach who brought them in saying "welp, this is bad, let's try and get in front of it sorry guys". So feel sorry for them all you want but make sure to point out it's their coach who's doing the buggering here.

The NCAA will screw over a different class in a few years.

They may as well impose a ban next year as well since UK, Duke, MSU are going to be loaded. I'd bet my life to 10 bucks they won't have any chance. Should have stuck it out this year and proposed a ban for next year.

So what else does the NCAA throw on top of this self-imposed ban? No chance they leave it at just that and nothing else.

You've essentially admitted guilt by throwing away this post season and praying to god they don't bend you over further.

So basically they've admitted guilt. This is a step towards mitigation.

From the NCAA standpoint- they've admitted guilt to an aggravated violation of one of their most basic rules- don't pay recruits. Especially in an exclusive on campus basketball dorm.

I guess Louisville is ALL in on trying to firewall how high "knowledge" went, but does the NCAA care about that? Seems like they've made a big deal of showing they don't care if you knew/didn't know if you're in a position where you should have known from a liability standpoint.

As predicted by GYERO nice to know the ACC got the UL stank on them as well. All around banner day. Only thing could be better if Pitino goes full rogue at the podium.
