One thing I’ll gripe about is that it feels like we often wait until the second half to figure out how we want to handle defending screens.

Actually think Perry’s been fine. He gave up a bucket to Hepburn, but he actually contested his next drive which led to a turnover. He’s also gotten us a couple extra possessions by tip outs etc.
Now he did just get burned for two wide open threes that Smith fortunately missed, but he’s not alone in that. He hasn’t been worse on defense than, say, Brea.

He’s a Freshman but I am not seeing it with Perry. Is painfully slow to make a real impact at this level.
