That is a damn good point. Actually had not thought of that. Yet another benefit of Pope.

Given his knowledge of knee surgeries...slim and none, then probably a good guess that even yourself has as good a chance at figuring out if JQ can play on X date. And unless you have actually experienced this injury, it's a crap shoot, even w/ the best training......every knee is different. #beentheredonethat

My initial Quaintance take was some serious Boomer grumpiness. Cal PTSD is real, ya'll. Kid sounded great on Field of 68 repping Kentucky, I'll say that! A lot risk riding on that young man's rehab, especially if Garrison bounces.

I love the transfers. If we had Dioubate and maintained our health last year, we might have been a one seed. I think he starts his entire career here. He's the kind of swiss army knife forward that always gives us fits. I love having one of our own. I think he's going to start at the 4 and have an Amari-esque effect on the offense. He may not be the best 3p option, but he's got the ability to expand the offense in a multitude of ways. My favorite addition.

I saw a ton of comments on the socials bemoaning him leaving the team and alleged Bama fans saying he was the best PER player on their team from an all around perspective.

He's a tremendous pickup.

Speaking of ages, never pictured Kooky as 55. But 55 is the new 35, they say.

And speaking of Kooky, has anyone heard from him since his sports car broke an axle in rural PA or WVA or wherever? Maybe the Moth Man got him.

Happy birthdaying and grandpaing to those that celebrate.

Can’t believe that ‘dK hasn’t had a quick glaze on his boy Fredrick Couples today. Pretty impressive stuff!

Also, sure hope WCC’s favorite golfer is still in contention.

I may still be high from last night (it's my 40th birthday today, don't judge) but is anyone else getting advertisements on Cats Paw for some piss collection device that has a cartoon set of balls just popping up on your screen?

Come on Rivals.
Happy birthday man.

I’m 8 years older than you and feel like my 40th was last night.

Enjoy your takes and occasionally disagreeing.

I will never sweat losing a freshman again. #1 recruit, maybe. #26, or whatever he is, no.

Give me the guy who has done it In D1.

I think it might be better for guys in the 25-75 range to just go to a mid-major, be a starter for a year, and then transfer to the SEC or Big 10 after they get some real college experience.

Seeing the recoil from travis and the like over the Iamaleava reports after years of mcdonalds bags of cash is satisfying. Its all broken but I will not shed a tear for vol nation being held hostage. Do it Bama or just fire stoops and give him his salary.

In its current format Waynes suggestion is absolutely correct for college sports.

The main issue , or what’s wrong, is that players operate on 1 year deals and aren’t locked into any commitment.

Just imagine the NBA resetting every year, lol, it would be chaos which the NCAA is.

Have gotten into watches and vinyl records. Really feel like I’m hitting my late 40’s in stride.
Watches, not yet, but speaking of vinyl, this Saturday is "National Record Store Day" and a lot of artists will have special releases of vinyl to help the independent record stores of which Louisville has a number. There are lists you can find online of what stores might have what. My daughter and I went last year and I picked up a limited edition pressing of the Dead Milkmen's "Bucky Fellini".

I love music but don't understand the appeal of vinyl unless you just want to collect and display it. You can pay $10/month to listen to basically all of history's important recorded output. Or you can pay $25 for a vinyl copy of DSOTM or whatever classic album.

I'm not advocating that it's good for the game. But under the current rules it seems to be the most reasonable thing to do.

College sports needs to get its act together and start aligning on multi-year deals. Seems like it would be good for both players and schools.

Vinyl forces you to be present and in the moment. No skipping and you take in a whole album.

And with a good speaker system it's a completely different experience than scrolling through Spotify (whose sound quality is kinda trash) through some earbuds or a laptop. There are apps like Tidal and Qobuz for lossless streaming, but to me a vinyl listening session is a much more active and enjoyable experience.

Analog sound is absolutely different, richer/better than digital audio. Obviously nowhere near as convenient, but if listening to an entire album is how you like to consume music, it doesn’t get better than vinyl with good speakers. Pour a bourbon or have a gummy and enjoy.
