I haven't gotten a chance to see the movie yet, but I'm nearly finished reading American Sniper. I have zero doubt that Chris Kyle was an absolute bad ***. I am grateful to have soldiers of his caliber fighting on our side, and I think his attitude regarding war itself is pretty necessary for the guys who do the actual killing; but I have had about as much bragging, humble-bragging, and false modesty as I can take.
