I know, but its February. Time to start thinking about March. I really don't like pattern. Hopefully, they're just bored.

This team is clearly bored. I just hope after two months of dog **** opponents we can flip the switch back to murder/rape in the tournament. My only concern is losing our edge because of this steaming pile of **** conference.

Meh, that was a **** performance against a rugged **** team. Par for the course this conference season.

Andrew tho.

...and Karl with his best overall game as a Cat as well...this game + 1st half vs. Bama, he's showing signs for sure, just as expected.

Not encouraged or discouraged...more annoyed -- partly at us, but mostly at our ******** conference and the way these games are played.

Agree with Beavis though, worst 22-0 start/team I can remember.

Speaking of **** conference... We might just see UF fall to Vandy, Arkansas fall to USCjr, and UT fall to Miss State tonight....

I'm sure.

Betting on these touch boys is basically a coin flip, no CLUE why I continue to do it.

...and it has NOTHING to do with "parity", either. I could live with that.

SEC Basketball

Actually I should just start betting against the 'marginal' teams that 'need' a win vs. a bottom-feeder, probably come out pretty good doing that in this **** league.

Why is it that for every team in this dog crap conference that looks to be cementing itself as a tourney team they immediately lose to a bottom of the standings team ?

Vomit.

Perusing boxscores...Nigel Hayes, the warrior, had ZERO (0) rebounds in 35 minutes.

Who would a thought Georgia at home by 10 would be the tipping point for chad?

I've just seen this **** every other game for a month now.
We missed both Lyles and Poythress in a game like this.

Teams our putting bodies on our bigs on every shot the guards are going to have to help out. 18 of 24 boards went to WCS and KAT.

-WTF was up with Johnson tonight? Jesus big guy. Settle down.

-Drew
Shewweee, he plays with that confidence and we're going to be tough.

-Settled for too many 3's and our guys were off. SMH.

-Get up 17 and take the foot off the gas.

-Something that does worry me, after extended minutes the guys looked tired. Wonder if playing 20 minutes all season has the main guys in good enough condition to play minutes like that and still have the legs for an overtime game against a good team.

It's in-game redass, but it's February now. Time to get serious. Everything we watch now I view through the prism of March. I'm just tired of these **** SEC games. We coast. They play hard. We win unenthusiastically. Same story every game.

I'm hoping Gameday and then a talented LSU team on the road will motivate these guys.

It's February, man. Let's get it going.

Good lord.

Per early numbers, looks like quite a few survivors, which is amazing...video of them pulling out a little toddler alive and boating him/her off.

Quote from an official said something like unfortunately the people in the front of the plane are most likely...

^ going back to that 'plane crash' special History/Discovery/Whatever did.

I still try and get in the front, b/c the process of getting off a plane is one of my biggest pet-peeves in live.
Amazing how when it's 'our' turn, we get up and head out, not even breaking stride if we have to grab a bag from up top (which we rarely do).

Somehow, it takes everyone else about 40 seconds each to complete that process.

Every UK conference home game in a nutshell:

(1) Come out like gangbusters early.

(2) Let off the gas a little bit to see if the other team is going to give up.

(3) If the other team still shows signs of life, roll your eyes and go through the motions for the next 35 minutes just to get this thing over with.

They are beyond bored right now. Even then, if Bricker shoots close to his standard and Aaron actually shows up, we win by about 20. These types of games are annoying, but it has to be hard for our kids to "get up" for these middling SEC teams.

Good for him. Hate it the way his career turned out here...such bad luck.

Cot Damn I was excited about him...he passed the 'Look' test as much as any player we've had when he first arrived. I thought he was a lock to be a star.

Not sure Clemons ever caught one good break in his career. As soon as he showed promise- injury after injury.

- For as "bad" as UK's schedule seems to be, by the end of the regular season, UK will have played 14 games against KenPom's current Top 50.

- I gave the bigs **** yesterday, but we won't look very good anytime Booker and Aaron combine for 1-10 from 3pt.

Was listening to Rick & Bubba on the 5 minute commute yesterday morning. They said Bruce Jenner will become Jen Brucer after the change over to shemale.

How in the hell did Lunardi have Florida as "last four out" before last night ? I get it people are starting to see there are other SEC teams worthy of a ticket, but UF ?? No. It is a 100% lock Qualls and Ole G Bobby Portis will play all NBA when they come to Rupp. Towns, Willie, and the rest of the bigs had better get that pussification worked out. We will see multiple ESPN top 10 plays if they do not. That is exactly what we are missing, AP was fearless going to the rack, all the other bigs lately seem contempt with fading away or throwing up some off balance soft attempt (which completely negates our size advantage). Need to attack the rim like it owes them money.

-Seemed like all we did was jack 3's yesterday in the second. Not sure what that was about. Bored. Seems like a loss might be good for these guys at some point. Maybe. But not at touching Florida. Lost to those chumps 3 times last year, so hopefully, they bring the pain.

-
at the video of the plane clipping the bridge. Amazing there were any survivors. Is it just me, or has it seemed like planes in/to Asia have all of a sudden been dropping out of the sky/disappearing at a rapid clip the last year?

-Anyone else's wife fell he need to'justify' whatever the hell they did all day on a consistent basis? Not talking about stay at home moms, they don't have to justify ****, but childless wives who either don't work at all, or only part time.

My wife works about 3 days a week on average, and it seems like every day she isn't at work, I have to hear some manufactured horror story about HOW AWFUL her day was. It's always some weak ******** like it took FOREVER to get through Trader Joe's, or SOMEONE WAS ON HER FAVORITE TREADMILL at or SHE COULDN'T GET A CAB to her appointment, or I HAD TO WAIT FOR THE DELIVERY/CABLE/ConEd GUY!, etc. Always complaining about how hard her day was.

What's that about? I don't care that you have a few days off each week. How bout you spend that time taking it easy instead of finding things to ***** about so I don't think you were taking it easy.

- Was it Freakonomics that talked about Asian pilots being particularly susceptible to plane crashes because of cultural communication issues with control? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I read it somewhere a few years back.

Yes. I think it was Freakonomics, or maybe a Gladwell book, but the premise is that some Asian cultures place such a premium on respect, co-pilots are reluctant to question their pilots, or point out if something is going wrong. To do so would be a sign of disrespect to those in authority. (IMO, Disrespect >>> Dying).

Don't understand how hens can do a 180 with their mood in a matter of seconds.

Last Saturday morning..

" IM SO GLADD MAGGIE & HER HUSBAND CAME IN LAST NIGHT & STAYED AT OUR HOUSE. DINNER AT LOOP 22 WAS GREAT & GLAD WE COOKED BREAKFAST FOR THEM THIS MORNING & ATE AT THE DINING ROOM TABLE. GREAT WEEKEND SO FAR. SHE LOVES THE NEW BLINDS."

15 minutes later after explaining I was having folks over later for the game...

" WANTED A WEEKEND FOR OURSELVES. NOW I HAVE TO SPEND MY SATURDAY CLEANING THE HOUSE. WANTED TO RELAX WITH YOU. EVERYTHING REVOLVES AROUND KENTUCKY ATHLETICS. NEVER JUST YOU AND I. IM UPSET. /crying"

Yep.

Your parents are perfectly nice people, as are my parents, but something about in laws (even nice ones) makes the wives a little crazy. And springing plans on them, OH NO!

Bonus points for having her friends SPEND THE NIGHT and have breakfast with you, then complain about not having a weekend to yourselves.
