One of the better SportsCenter segments I've seen in awhile.

About Justin Zormelo, some analytical dude who got his big break when he took on Kevin Durant during his MVP season. This dude knows more about people's games than they do themselves.

Really cool stuff, and this piece focuses on Thon Maker, his newest project. A lot of people seem "down" on this kid for some reason, but his talent is beyond elite.

Anyways, a good 15 minute watch, really interesting look deep into hoops...

IIRC, her daugher(s) were D.O.P.E - they are surely legal now, pretty sure they were close, then...

--Awful story up here. A guy is driving home, 40-something father of four kids, by all accounts a great guy… and a 2 year old runs out in front of his car and he hits the kid, killing him. He was in shock, stopped the car, and was by all accounts completely grief stricken. The family of the 2 year old comes out and is appropriately in hysterics… and the kid's uncle goes and grabs a gun and shoots the driver in the head. Then he turns to the 2 year old's 14 year old brother, says "it's your fault for not watching him," shoots him in the chest. The 14 year old died in surgery. POS uncle fled to Chicago where he killed himself a couple days ago.

--I love a lot about technology but could do without the constant accessibility. I hate having to check 3 different email accounts, be constantly accessible by cell phone, bombarded with ads anytime I'm on the computer, and interacting with someone in person only to have them whip out their phone and completely shift their attention. You're no longer allowed to not know something, because you can google anything. Forget learning something by talking to someone and discussing a topic. It's impossible to unplug from it all.

Sad to say I never got the chance to crush a co-worker. The only females I ever worked with were The Guru's secretaries, both in their 70s at the time, and his wife. No employees now, but if I hired any I'd get busted for harassment since I'm the boss.

Co-worker's....

First job I was married and behaved. Post-divorce, I nearly made a run at one girl, but she was married to a guy I used to work with and also had cut marks. I didn't need that level of crazy at that point. One nutty girl was enough (meaning the, at the time, estranged ex).

New job, I made an attempt at two co-workers.

First, nice girl - polar opposite of the ex-wife who was a hyper-active sloot with a major superiority complex. First date...find out she's 32 AND a virgin. Girl was cute but, man, that screams a whole other level of crazy waiting for when you break that dam. I thought she was lying but after hanging out with her a few more times and hearing family stories, I realize she's a crazy-devout Catholic. She found out I was divorced and that was the end of that. Now I get the stinkeye from her whenever she seems me with the current lady in my life.

Second coworker was a slam dunk. 24 technician where I work. Little blue rose tattoo just to the right of the special spot and those dimples above the butt. White trash name Tasha. Everyone had been on that though, she was good for a few months diversion. Always good to drop down a generation post marriage. She was also batshit insane and had an equally insane mother that I met while drunk at a local Oktoberfest. Her mom was a crazy Christian cultist...some small snake handler church down here in E. TN. First thing I said to her is "Once i'm done with the beer here, I'm gonna slam your daughter on my couch at home." Sloot was not amused. She ended our fling via text a few weeks later and now avoids me like the plague at work. I did get my couch action though. She's now banging a different development engineer in my group. I imagine she's hoping one of us sticks a baby in her so she can quit her barely above minimum wage lab tech job.

ESPN (sportscenter) while pretty much unwatchable now will be eleventybillion times worse with Tim Tebow signing with Philly. "Tebow reportedly took a dump today and wiped with wet wipes and placed the wipes in a Kroger bag like another weirdo in GYERO"

I wouldn't say homely at all. Very cute and probably been very loyal to him. Wouldn't surprise me if he marries her at some point. She probably shouldn't pressure him though.

Man, I'd *kill* for Diallo.

Skal, Diallo, Lee, Willis --- that's a great & versatile front line. You don't need 7 NBA lotto picks to have a great front line in college -- feel like we're so used to that around here that people forget that's not normal.

Add Mulder, and I really like that team. Add Newman/Brown/Ingram, and well, then we'll be pretty ridiculous yet again.

Not to mention Poythress.

I'll finish out GoT just because, but it's a damn snoozefest right now. No nudity or sex, very little violence, terrible characters and storylines. Depressing and disappointing so far this season.

More Tyrion
More Battles
More Sex/Brothels
More Dragons
More Wight Walkers

This really isn't hard.

Pretty Jordan isn't worried about any of these things, which is why he's so damn likeable & is who he is.

Now Kevin Harned ---> if he had any real friends, they'd tie him up and shave it for him. Good grief.

Looking at Kevin Harned straight on (and likely the only way he sees himself in mirror) you think he's just thinning out, dude turns to side with head down...
.

Would love to be there the day he catches a glimpse of that ish for himself. Yeesh.

His ex wife was decent, Carrie. Not sure why they got divorced, but they were a coworker setup.

I'd love to get Diallo and think we have a better chance than people seem to think, but I think our frontcourt is in good shape already. We need wings/shooters/scorers. Sounds like Mulder is a lock. We add Mulder AND Newman, along with Matthews, and that's a squad.

I really like the way Matthews moves. He's a pure wing. People bring up Liggins, but he's much more athletic, bouncier.

If you're a scorer, why WOULDN'T you want to place with Ulis and Briscoe?

I went to a Reds game with my brothers a few Fridays ago and had a blast.

I haven't watched a combined 5 innings other than that. No matter how bad they are, I usually will at least watch a couple of innings a night.

The Final Four loss has killed my normally insane interest in sports for the time being.

I am still checking recruiting news 10x a day, though. Weird.

The issue with our frontcourt isn't talent, it's strength. With the exception of Poythress, who's only 6-7, it's nothing but beanpoles. They'll get their share of rebounds/blocks, but I would love to have an actual big body in there too, if only to use up some fouls and body up an opposing big. The Kiwi has that kind of frame, but is so raw and would be a mid-year pickup. Not worth burning a half-year for whatever limited production he'd give you anyway.

That's where I thought that Thorne kid could've been a nice pickup. Just give you 8-12 minutes a game to mix it up in there. Diallo could do that, but he's only 215-220 or so.

Not going all Chicken Little like some are, though. Think we'll be just fine in what looks to be a wide-open year.

This really isn't hard.
In general I agree, but there were some slivers of hope last night. Tyrion is just what is needed to resuscitate the Dany storyline, and it sorely needs resuscitating. I'm looking forward to the two of them teaming up. Tyrion + Dany + dragons =
Also looking forward to the emergence of Dorne as an enemy of Kings Landing. Lots of potential there. I'm having a real hard time getting into the Sansa/Littlefinger/Brienne story. Complete meh. Same with John Snow. There's a lot of potential there as well, but I think John made a mistake not accepting Stannis's proposal. Speaking of which, we need more Stannis and less Night Watch. It's just dragging. I'm intrigued by Arya and the House of Black and White. Hopefully there's something exciting there because I'm sick of her running around with her little sword and a scowl on her face.

Best line of the night went to, who else, Tyrion - "The best part of her for the best part of me."

Chad..

How do you honestly believe our frontcourt is in good shape already? You going to go with Lee, Poythress and Skal? There's no depth and there's a lack of scoring with the exception of Skal. Lee could step up but he's going to be nothing but a super athletic junk man. Poythress is similar in that regard although he's a 3/4. Not greatly skilled but crazy athletic.

That leaves us with no depth whatsoever if Skal or Lee get in foul trouble and lack of a true small forward that can bounce if and shoot it. Not buying Willis until I see it.

Lass wants to watch 'The Dark Knight' for some reason, so we went ahead and watched Batman Begins 1st, b/c that apparently sets it up, and she's never seen *any* Batman.

It wasn't very good, imo.

I'm envious of you guys who can stomach looking ahead to next season. I just don't have it in me right now. This past season, and it's conclusion, really took a lot out of me. I should care about recruiting and our prospects for next season, but I just don't. And losing all those guys to the NBA hurts. I know that's the name of the game nowadays, especially with Cal, but 7 at one time is a huge kick in the already-swollen nuts. I've tried caring about the NBA playoffs, but that's not working. The Masters has been the only sports bright spot, and the British and US Opens are the only things I'm looking forward to between now and college football.

I'm still full of a lot of piss & vinegar with regards to the basketball program. Sadness, if it ever set in, was very fleeting for this wildcat friend. Probably will be pissed off for some time, actually.

Ok, what powers does Batman really have that are worth a damn? Same with Spiderman. Batman vs. Superman? Child please, Superman would whoop his ***, not even close really. Have they watered down Superman's powers or something?
