Good luck to Jake! He was a fine encouragement to my grandson who was a freshman wrestler and baseball player when Jake was a senior at ACHS.

Didn't he also pick off Barker's last HS pass to secure the win and knock them out of the playoffs?

This is a question and in no way a knock on Barker, coaches or program ... Just a question that if anyone could confirm would be kind of an interesting twist to things

Not possible, since this guy was in college long before Barker graduated HS. He might have played against Barker when Barker was a freshman but I think he was already at EKU even then.

It was Ross Cox for Anderson Co.

Think he walked on at UK and then transferred to Georgetown this season.

Looking at who was on the roster and ahead of him on the depth chart during his time here really says a lot about the coaching staff. I've known Jacob wince we were kids, playing on the same little league teams and attending the same church. I hope he makes it big time.

Hope the guy makes it, wish him nothing but the best. Just think Morgan Newton was ahead of him on the depth chart. o_O
